Great Spot for Great Beer and German Bites

Love coming here with friends for a cool beer after work. Everyone is always very friendly, which is great as you may be sharing a large table with strangers (a.k.a. new friends). OMB crafts German-inspired beers with a craft twist. I love the Southside Weiss, a witlager, and Fat Boy Porter... read more

We went 30 minutes before or 4:00 tour. Ordered hot wings that came out within 10 minutes. Quick service. Great brewery tour. Note: this is GERMAN style beer. If you want an IPA or hoppy beer, this isn't for you. If you like Oktoberfest type beer, this IS what you've been searching for.

We went for lunch on a Saturday. The place was rather packed, and you have to find your own seat. We were pleasantly surprised with how quickly the waitstaff took notice of us and brought us drinks. I went for a burger and was pleased. My wife got something more German-themed and was less than impressed. We both agreed on... More

Three adults and two children under six visited on a busy Saturday evening. Service was slow but expected due to the place being very busy. Food was great, I was told beer was even better.

I go to Oktoberfest every year it seems. Going to the Olde Mecklenburg Brewery reminds me very much of the biergartens and festival halls in Munich. The festhalle is lively, good decor, and good food (German style sausages and sides),while the outside biergarten has plenty of room for large groups to enjoy a beer and the weather. Nice to see... My wife and I recently visited friends in North Carolina .While there we wanted to visit some local Breweries. This Brewery opened at 11 AM and worked into our crowded schedule. It was an awesome experience. It was a classic looking german type Brew House.I featured several of their beers and they were described by our pleasant bartender Sara.We all opted for beer... It looked like a rainy afternoon, so what better to do than to go beer tasting with friends. We were all surprised at the attention to detail of the brewery. It was very large compared to the breweries we had visited in FL and SC and well appointed. The wait staff was attentive and suggested a flight of four pours.... More

We stopped at the brewery while waiting to check into our hotel. We were pleasantly surprised that the patio was pet friendly and that they sold beer inside and outside. We found a shady spot under the tree and had two beers that were quite delicious. This is a great spot to relax for a bit and to let your... More

While visiting from Maine, we spent an afternoon at the Brewery with Family. Very lively and upbeat. Excellent beer in a very friendly atmosphere! Wait staff was knowledgeable and upbeat. Food was good. We sat both inside and outside the facility and enjoyed both. This was our second visit, the first being three years ago prior to them opening this... More

Stopped in after spending the afternoon walking around out in the hot sun. Their Copper brew was an excellent choice to begin the cool down. Had good service even though they were very busy. Enjoyed a couple different brews. For my personal taste the porter is too sweet, but I am old sourpuss anyway. :) The menu is a little... More
