Great beer garden, informative tour and good food

We went on a warm saturday and the place was packed inside and out. The tour of the brewery was informative-they only use 4 ingredients to make their beer (I'll let you take the tour to find out what they are). It's kind of a hipster type vibe there, and a surprising amount of small children... read more

Having been to many German restaurants over the years and even having spent time in Germany, I was still very impressed!

Great beer, very good casual German food. Terrific atmosphere. It is often difficult getting a table (which you have to grab as people leave). Free corn hole adds to the fun.

Man...this was a tough one to consider. I was teetering between 1 or 2 stars and finally landed on a 1.5, but rounded up to be generous. On my most recent road-trip, I spent an overnight in Charlotte and was excited to see all the great reviews of the Olde Meck. I was really stoked to check it out for... More

Went with friends and we did the beer tour.....never had and it was nice...the staff were friendly and informative....my husband and I had the sampler which contained 5 different beer samples... Dunkel was my favorite!... What was nice was the out door seating area with fire pits and bean bag toss....nice place to hang with friends...I forgot to mention that... More

I visited OMB with a group of friends during the early day. I loved that it wasn't crowded ( even though it definitely has the space for a large crowd). I'm going to make some enemies here but I'm not a huge fan of hoppy beers but I was still able to find something I enjoyed (Radler). Everyone else in... More

We went to Olde Mecklenburg Brewery over the holiday break and had a fun time. The beer and the food were great. The service was a little slow, but they were pretty busy that night. We will definitely be back.

We came to the Brewery for the Weihnachtsmarkt. It was a nice setup with music and vendors. My only tip for next year, and I admit I am a bit of a snob simply because I've gone to the ones in Europe, is to have more booths geared towards Christmas. Afterwards, we headed into the restaurant. Understandably it was packed.... More
