The Copper is my favorite beer of all but all of their beers are amazing, plus no additives or preservatives, just excellent beer without all the crap the big breweries HAVE TO add to allow the beer to sit in hot temperatures for long periods of time. The Copper is a German Altbier that is perfection on every level, try... More

Of the many local breweries in Charlotte, and there are quite a few; this is probably my favorite. And the reason is simple: delicious beer made in a German style. If you have time for a single beer or several, make sure you stop by this place. It looks and feels like a Beer Hall; and food is also delicious.... More

excellent brew. nothing too exotic and a great american representation of germanic recipes. would recommend asking for a brewery tour, always interesting to hear about their process. they will be soon moving to a bigger facility. and look forward to their new establishment. cannot wait for their fall releases.

Had an 8 hour layover in Charlotte and with pre research we selected this brewery to tour, taste and hangout for a couple of hours. Okay folks, this is NOT where you are going to find your triple hopped West Coast IPA - this is a German style craft brewery. My favorite was the OMB Copper which is an authentic... More

We visited a few weeks ago and had a great experience. Many beer choices , good service and great food. Today, we brought family to celebrate the birthday of craft brew lover. There were only four beers listed (10 before) and they ran out of one - his flight had two of the same brew (didn't even ask which one... More

This is a great little brewery. They had about 6 beers on tap and there were many sizes to choose from so that you could have a lot, or a little, or a few sizes in between. The prices were good too, especially on the small pours. It was great to have the option of having a little of everything.... More

My boyfriend and I visited Charlotte over the Easter holiday weekend. The weather changed our initial outdoor plans as well as the plans half of the people in the area. The place was packed and we wound up sharing a table with a very friendly family who frequents the place every Saturday. They told us that that was an unusual... More

Went here with my husband while we were staying out of town. The food was good & the beer was really good & i'm not even a big beer drinker but I ended up drinking a glass that tasted great! I enjoyed the whole atmosphere, staff was really pleasant too.

A group of us enjoy going here - the beer flight is great and warm pretzels are the best. Of course they make you drink more beer but that's why you go. Tables set up so you can have a conversation with those you are with without screaming above the music or tv's. Very pleasant waitstaff.

We found this place on accident and fell in love! It's obvious the owner takes great care to ensure the authenticity of his beer! Try a flight to start so you can pick which is your fav!
