Came for a Charlotte Film Pros meet up last week and I must say, I'm definitely impressed with the grounds. Probably the closest you'll get to a biergarten in Charlotte, NC. They've got a great firepit and seating outside, and inside was equally as nice. I had a beer and pretzel, both were excellent, and I'd love to come again... More

We had a great time at Olde Meck. We are craft beer lovers, so it was a great choice for us. The beer was very good and we enjoyed the variety. You don't have to be a beer lover to enjoy the place, though. The food was also quite tasty - a nice selection of German specialties. We also really... More

Stopped by with family to check out the new facility and sample some suds. The beers were overall pretty good. Not all fantastic, but all very drinkable and to the German style they try to be. Only 4 to choose from but all good choices. The food was very good and based on German food with many different sausages to... More

Went here during the Oktoberfest and I really wasn't that impressed with it. I thought the beers were average and nothing really stood out that would make me want to go back here.

We visited on a Thursday night with friends who live nearby. Our whole reason for going was to sit outside in the biergarten, so we could enjoy dinner and beers, and our kids were free to play under the pecan trees. (The area is fenced in, which was great for the younger kids.) I am glad we were with our... More

This place is very popular but I can't understand why. It was very crowded and noisy, but that's to be expected on College Gameday during football season. It's a German beer hall style restaurant with long picnic table type seating. We were not served until about 10-15 minutes after being seated. The server took our drink orders but never returned,... Let me start by saying that I'm not a beer drinker, but I do like taking tours of cool places. And this was place was very cool. The building itself has lots of character and is very clean. The tour was very informative and I gained an appreciation for the work they put into making the beer. My bf and... More

Ate there today with a buddy from work. It was lunch on a work day so we didn't have any of their excellent beer. Basically, we were scouting the place to see if there was after work/evening potential. There certainly is. First of all, the food is good. I had a pizza. My pal had a turkey Reuben. Both very...
