Ate there today with a buddy from work. It was lunch on a work day so we didn't have any of their excellent beer. Basically, we were scouting the place to see if there was after work/evening potential. There certainly is. First of all, the food is good. I had a pizza. My pal had a turkey Reuben. Both very... Since moving down the street to a new location, the brewery and eatery upped its atmosphere dramatically. The wooden bar looks handmade and is gorgeous. The Biergarten is delightful under the pecan trees. Unfortunately we've been twice to this location and disappointed. The beer and menu selections are sparse until they get their groove back. The staff seem confused and... More

Went for this weekend and could not believe how cool it was. It's just like the beer gardens in Germany. I've never seen anything like this in the US. Amazing German beer and good German food. We hung out for hours. I can't wait to go back!

The best thing about this brewery is the outside sitting area. The beer itself was ok not bad but nothing incredible. I did enjoy our tour of the brewery. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we even got to sample directly from inside the brewery. That was a plus since our sample given was pretty much a full glass. I'm... More

Went on Friday night the service was terrible! Had to stand at the bar for at least 5 minutes waving at the bartenders. Got a table & after about 15 minutes flagged down a serve who said any food would take 1 hour! I left immediately & went to Macs & got served in minutes with food out in about... More

The Copper is my favorite beer of all but all of their beers are amazing, plus no additives or preservatives, just excellent beer without all the crap the big breweries HAVE TO add to allow the beer to sit in hot temperatures for long periods of time. The Copper is a German Altbier that is perfection on every level, try... More

Of the many local breweries in Charlotte, and there are quite a few; this is probably my favorite. And the reason is simple: delicious beer made in a German style. If you have time for a single beer or several, make sure you stop by this place. It looks and feels like a Beer Hall; and food is also delicious.... More

Had an 8 hour layover in Charlotte and with pre research we selected this brewery to tour, taste and hangout for a couple of hours. Okay folks, this is NOT where you are going to find your triple hopped West Coast IPA - this is a German style craft brewery. My favorite was the OMB Copper which is an authentic... More

We visited a few weeks ago and had a great experience. Many beer choices , good service and great food. Today, we brought family to celebrate the birthday of craft brew lover. There were only four beers listed (10 before) and they ran out of one - his flight had two of the same brew (didn't even ask which one... More

This is a great little brewery. They had about 6 beers on tap and there were many sizes to choose from so that you could have a lot, or a little, or a few sizes in between. The prices were good too, especially on the small pours. It was great to have the option of having a little of everything.... More
