Great Beer, Good Food, Fun Atmosphere

My wife and I brought my Dad here over a recent weekend, with the idea of having lunch and then taking a tour of the brewery. The inside was so packed we couldn't really find seats together, so we wound up outside in the beer garden (Biergarten). I later learned that the seating (picnic tables... read more

I lived in Jersey and there was a place similar to this place called the Barn Yard! Brought back great memories! I wish we has a place like this in Louisville! Has a large gravel Biergarten. Huge indoor and outdoor space. The beer and German food was delicious. The bartender indoors was very friendly and helpful in helping me choose... More

Went specifically to take a tour of the brewery and then grab drinks with my parents and brother. When we first showed up we were confused as To where to go for the tour- there was no one to greet patrons, no signage, no welcome Whatsoever by the staff. Finally we found where the crowd gathers for the tour which... More

What a great place to begin our date night. My husband who brews his own was impressed by this place. We had a very interesting Tour (Thanks Les) some great beer and awesome German Food. The live entertainment was really good as well. I wish I had gotten the Guitarist name as he was really good. We will definitely be... More

We had been to OMB for a party and decided to give it a try. We got there about 6:30 and what a surprise. The outside was full and the inside was full and the parking lot was full (of cars of course). Not many of us grey hair folks. We had to stand in this very loud large room... More

The tap room is huge and stunning. If you love craft beer this is a must visit. The bar staff was friendly and made me feel welcome. They sell growlers right from the bar. However, they are pre-filled. Bartender said they were fresh and he was right...very flavorful and crisp beer. Only downside is they charge way too much for... More

This is a one of a kind spot. Large Biergarten. Much nicer than the other kind of "dumpy" ones locally. Lots of indoor and outdoor space. Lots of fun. Great beer. Nice staff.

First visit to this brewery. Its like an old fashioned brewhaus.. rows of tables with benches inside.. Also a large outside area even larger. You would expect flies to be a problem out side. but we had an unusual experience inside. First we ordered a flight of beers. Our appetizer was ground sauerkraut bites..delicious...As we were trying the brews and... More

Love coming here with friends for a cool beer after work. Everyone is always very friendly, which is great as you may be sharing a large table with strangers (a.k.a. new friends). OMB crafts German-inspired beers with a craft twist. I love the Southside Weiss, a witlager, and Fat Boy Porter (especially the bourbon barrel one). It's fantastic that you... More
