Excellent and unusual drinks at a restaurant that's loud, lively and fun. Good pub food and TV for sports fans. Also an option of eating out on the patio if the noise level gets too high.

My wife and I ate here prior to going to a show. The service was slow but the waitress was very polite but didn't really do anything above and beyond her job. The food was absolutely terrible. I ordered the ribeye and it was cooked right however was bland and tasteless. The mashed potatoes were disgusting. The best part of... More

This was the first restaurant my husband & I tried in Charlotte. It is in a great location. We ate outside and the weather was beautiful. This is a great area for people watching- we even saw protesters with bullhorns! The beer selection was very good, but the food, like many beer bars was just mediocre. I saw three horse... More

The service and beer selection set Carolina Ale House apart from other restaurants in the area. It was the ideal restaurant for what we were looking for at the time with solid food options and an extensive beer list. Our experience was highlighted by fantastic service while enjoying the outdoor seating.

The food was fine, the drinks were good, and the prices were excellent. Best of all, the service was, 'southern hospitality'.

This was the second time I had been to the Ale House. Was not impressed the first time but thought it may have been a bad night. Turned out it must have been a common night. Service is terribly slow, and there weren't many diners. I was served a drink with a sticky glass and the server seemed put off... More

It is nice place to hang out on game nights and after hours. I loved the hot wings here with cold draft beers. It gets more exciting late night...

Pub burger was very tasty and the appetizers were good too. The beer selection was great. The best part was watching an NHL game is Charlotte.

The organization sponsoring the event reserved the entire upstairs and all of the food was delicious.

Lots of craft beers to choose from. Food was good. I had the sliders with fries. They were really good. My husband got the Pub burger and it was great too (I tried a bite). We would definitely go back if we visit Charlotte again. Our waitress was awesome. Very laid back and nice. We sat outside and it was... More
