Nice place with good food

The Carolina Ale House was nicely situated between our hotel (Hilton Charlotte City Center) and the Blumenthal Theater. Due to time constraints, my wife and I decided to take in the show first and then had dinner at the alehouse later since the alehouse is open (on Saturdays) until 2 AM. The Ale... read more

Sad i am forced to write this, as i am a fan of this place. However, myself and one other had food poisioning from their chicken wings. I ended up throwing up and the other ended up having "other" issues... The wings were incorrect with their sauce and they did not fix it, even when asked. The server never showed... More

I was with family, we had a variety: loaded nachos, burger & club sandwich, and fried pickles. everything was good. Our server was not as punctual as I would have liked. We had to ask for drink refills constantly. Atmosphere was perfect, plenty of tv's to watch a variety of sport shows. I will be back.

Was in town for the bowl game and found this place on a fluke. Since it was game day everywhere was busy and packed we were lucky enough to get seated right away. Our waitress was very friendly despite how busy we could tell it was. She told us right away food was taking about 25 minutes to get out... More

I recently watched football games at Carolina Ale House. It has multiple televisions, so it was easy to watch more than one game at a time, and the staff was very accommodating to adjust the channel of the TV near our table to watch our game of choice. They have standard bar fare (wings, burgers, etc), but also some healthier... More

We ducked in here to watch Bowl game and then first part of Panthers Playoff game. It was busy but we found a spot at the bar and got ok service - it was just really busy! I had a Pub Burger and it was delicious!!!

My wife and I went to a Birthday Party at Carolina Ale House in July 2014. When we arrived for our friend's 40th Birthday Party, we were told that it was up stairs. Since I walk with a cane, I thought the staff would direct me to an elevator. Unfortunately they didn't because the one person elevator was being used... More

I had a nice burger here. The beer selection is good. Nothing fancy, but what they do, they do well.

We visited the Carolina Ale House while on a business trip to Charlotte. This restaurant is rather spacious but has very average food. If you are a drinker and like to watch sports while you eat, this is the place for you. The waitress seemed to be scarce as well and it took quite a while to get our bill.... More

Excellent food at a great price. Plenty of TV's to watch the games. Great atmosphere. Service was really good. Group of 6 had a great time.
