I visited solo while my husband was on a business trip. Not only did the menu have a good selection of beer but many interesting local beers as well. My waitress was very attentive. For a place where I expected basic 'bar food' I was impressed by the food choices that I made. The French onion soup was excellent. Give... More

Ate in the outdoor area of Carolina Ale House. There were four of us. Each had a different selection. We all were very pleased at the quality of the food. The fish and chips won the prize. It is breaded in house. The draft beer was smooth. The waitress friendly and service overall was excellent. Also try the Carolina brisket... More

Draft beer after draft beer after draft beer (including some unusual ones... the Jalapeno Ale was quite good). Typical bar food (good burgers). Service was fast, friendly, and professional. Lots of big screens with most any game you might want to watch playing. Definitely a good place to drop in and get a beer.

Ate here at the CAH on a business trip. Ordered the Crusted Chicken, which came with fresh mashed potatos and a green salad. Very good food with great service.

This place in downtown Charlotte is worth the stop. It is a good place to eat whether you are an adult or child. The pulled pork nachos and my Carolina"cue" sandwich was very tasty. It is a short walk from the sporting facilities for football or baseball. The staff was very friendly and gave us excellent service. Others in our... More

Have returned here again, to see if what I have been writing holds up. Sadly, the quality of the food is starting to diminish. This has been a trend over the last few years. Had a snack platter of fried pickles, cheese sticks etc (yes healthy i know i know lol) However, these are BASIC snacks at any level. Ate... More

A great place in Downtown Charlotte. Walking distance to some great parks and the football stadium. Tons and tons of beer choices with lots of local brews. Even tried a local jalepeno beer which the waiter gave us a sample without even asking to make sure we liked it. Good menu with something for everyone and a great kids menu.... More

Came here for a quick business lunch. Three uncomplicated orders - 2 salads and 1 taco. Ridiculously slow to take our order and slow to check out. I won't be back!

Great selection of Tap and bottled beers. Stop by and sit on the patio if you can (weather permitting). Typical, but not bad pub food. A little pricey, but typical for the venue location
