Only good thing I liked here was the beer selection. Bartenders were slow and it took forever to even get a beer at the bar. I was going to order food but since they were slow at meeting my needs, I went elsewhere.

Great local draft beer selection. Good atmosphere as far as football enthusiasts go. Hostess was rude. Tried cheering her up but she just seemed to be in a mad mood. Were told it would be a 45 minute wait...two minutes later we were seated at a table. Go figure. Ordered a margarita which was the worst I've ever had....not sure... More

From the positive side, they have a huge selections of beer and plenty of tv screens for watching different football games. They also have a great location and some outside seating. Had the buffalo wings for an appetizer. They were advertised as "hot", but I'd call them warm. the Rueben sandwich was probably the worst I have ever encountered. Kraut... More

The beer selection is amazing and the variety of menu items was impressive for a sports type bar. I am on a restrictive diet and was not looking forward to another house salad. However, they had a delicious grilled tilapia special that was right down my alley, They modified the fresh grilled vegetables to accomodate my needs. The server, Ryan... More

The food was good, simple bar fare not much else. The servers did a nice job even when swamped. The menu could be expanded.

We arrived in Charlotte at 8pm and checked into the Westin. A full day of meeting and travel required a beer and some quality pub food. With ridiculous amount of beers on tap, this was perfect choice. Thursday night NFL game so there was a bit of a crowd, but we got a table quick. I went with the Buffalo... More

Excellent and unusual drinks at a restaurant that's loud, lively and fun. Good pub food and TV for sports fans. Also an option of eating out on the patio if the noise level gets too high.

My wife and I ate here prior to going to a show. The service was slow but the waitress was very polite but didn't really do anything above and beyond her job. The food was absolutely terrible. I ordered the ribeye and it was cooked right however was bland and tasteless. The mashed potatoes were disgusting. The best part of... More

This was the first restaurant my husband & I tried in Charlotte. It is in a great location. We ate outside and the weather was beautiful. This is a great area for people watching- we even saw protesters with bullhorns! The beer selection was very good, but the food, like many beer bars was just mediocre. I saw three horse... More

The service and beer selection set Carolina Ale House apart from other restaurants in the area. It was the ideal restaurant for what we were looking for at the time with solid food options and an extensive beer list. Our experience was highlighted by fantastic service while enjoying the outdoor seating.
