The organization sponsoring the event reserved the entire upstairs and all of the food was delicious.

Lots of craft beers to choose from. Food was good. I had the sliders with fries. They were really good. My husband got the Pub burger and it was great too (I tried a bite). We would definitely go back if we visit Charlotte again. Our waitress was awesome. Very laid back and nice. We sat outside and it was... More

My girls were in a dance competition for the weekend and we were staying close by at the Hampton Inn. My wife and I did a quick search for "breweries" in the area and the Carolina Ale House came up. We were not disappointed. First, the Ale House was only a few minutes from our hotel (even with traffic). Secondly,... More

Stopped on a couple of occasions during the conference because of the great choice of draft beers Wasn't feeling 100% so beer and wings was a great pick me up Bar was hoping but no problems finding a space - good enough to return

Stopped in after Bobcats game. Ordered wings. Seemed to be refried; not fresh. Ordered Spicy Chix wrap. Lots of fat and grizzle. Surprising because I have tried CAH in Raleigh and loved it. Our server Darien was the bright spot.

Not a pub atmosphere, but comfortable and casual. Lots of good beer choices, and we liked the variety in the menu. Very friendly staff.

Stopped in to have some food and drinks before a hokey game with three friends. It was about 6pm on a Friday so the "Happy Hour" crowd was still around so it was relatively busy, however, we did not have to wait to be seated. The hostess (who did not say much to us) walked us over to a table... More

I have never been disappointed with the Ale House and being that it was a jammed pack day and so much going on, the Ale House was good as always. The fries are the best!!

We went to Carolina Ale House for a quick early dinner. It was crowded and we were seated outside (it was cool but the area was open and busy). After being seated we were quickly forgotten. We had to try to hail a waiter/waitress as rigorously as one hails a cab in NYC. We ordered drinks and were asked to... More

If I had reviewed the Ale House on my first two visits, it would have easily been 4, maybe 5 stars. But our most recent visit was incredibly bad. It seems like there was a complete turnover in staff or something that ruined the continuity of service. Our server was attentive and good at first, but at some point during... More
