Great food & service

Close to the Epicentre, but a lot less crowded! The food was wonderful and prices not bad. Our waitress was also very friendly and made sure we were always taken care of.

Great place to sit outside on the large patio while enjoying nice weather, great food and beer. My first visit was mid afternoon and I was thrilled when I saw the sign in the distance while walking from the Hilton City Center. My first pint was a Fransiskaner a 5.5% German beer with a lovely wheaty flavor and I accompanied... More

Stopped by just for a beer and rest stop. Staff was very friendly. Sat outside in patio which sits right on the corner. Great for people watching and just sitting back.

Killing time before flight home. When downtown Charlotte for a beer. Waiter was a great help in telling us about the local Brewers and their different beers on tap. Great to spend some relaxing time downtown watching people.

Actually ate here 2 nights on a recent business trip. Had the salmon one night and burger the 2nd and both were delicious. Burgers are very large but very juicy and tasty. Husband tried one of their NC brewed beers (99 bottled beers and 72 on tap!) and loved it. Very casual place with nice seating outside too on a... More

Excellent location in the heart of downtown Charlotte, with a lively, sporty atmosphere that is perfect for the after work crowd. Great pub food and also some healthy choices, and an extensive bar menu that includes many craft beers and IPAs. The staff is cheerful and attentive, and make this a fun destination. Perfect spot for the business traveler as... More

I visited solo while my husband was on a business trip. Not only did the menu have a good selection of beer but many interesting local beers as well. My waitress was very attentive. For a place where I expected basic 'bar food' I was impressed by the food choices that I made. The French onion soup was excellent. Give... More

Ate in the outdoor area of Carolina Ale House. There were four of us. Each had a different selection. We all were very pleased at the quality of the food. The fish and chips won the prize. It is breaded in house. The draft beer was smooth. The waitress friendly and service overall was excellent. Also try the Carolina brisket... More
