Just returned from a wonderful dinner at Midwood Smokehouse. From the fried pickles to the burnt ends just excellent. My husband had the combo platter. Everything he tasted was better than the last. Awesome baked beans! Meat was tender and moist. Didn't even try the sauce they brought us. Glad we chose this over a recommendation from someone about another... More

What a find, and what good deals! For $30, my girlfriend and I got 4 different meats and two delicious sides. We opted for the mac and cheese and fries as our sides. The fries were delicious, made fresh in the restaurant. The mac and cheese was very delicious as well. The beer selection is decent as well. The wait... More

I've eaten here at least 6 times. Love the smoked veggies and brisket. Great mixed drinks and beer selections. Management is friendly and remembers patrons. I've also had them cater office event and it was huge success.

Went here with our adult children, their spouses and our 11 month old grand baby. Good family place where baby noises are not a disturbance to anyone. The noise level was just right for a lively atmosphere as well as ability to hold a normal conversation. Food was plentiful and very reasonable. All entrees included 1-2 sides plus 5-6 fabulous... One of our main goals travelling in the south was to eat as much BBQ as we could. This place came with good reviews and was recommended by locals and was one of many places we ate at and can accurately compare against even other parts of the country. We had: Multi-meat platter (sausage, chicken, chopped pork, brisket), bacon wrapped... More

I've had Nashville bbq, and Memphis bbq.. I wanted to try local bbq in Charlotte and this was definitely a good choice. Service was great, prices were reasonable, and the food was awesome.

This is Charlotte's most popular place for beer and bbq. I had the small pulled pork sandwich which turned out to be enough for 2 people; the portions are huge. The pork was moist and delicious. They also have a great variety of beers and plenty of space the accommodate everyone. Highly recommended.

The pulled pork sandwich is my favorite! It's moist, smoky, tender, and tasty. The mac and cheese, sweet potato fries, and cole slaw are also fabulous. It's extremely consistent, so I always know what I'm getting. I'm so glad they expanded because it was very difficult to get in - everybody wants to eat there!

Went here to get a take out order of Burnt Ends. This is the only place in NC that I've found that has Burnt Ends. In addition to beef they also had pork Burnt Ends. Great barbecue, great sides and a great beer selection.
