I was in Charlotte recently and wanted a nice spot to watch the NBA Finals that had good food. A buddy suggested I go to BlackFinn at the downtown EpiCenter. I sat at the bar and was promptly greeted by the bartender. I really enjoyed the big screen TVs. They really don't have a bad seat in the bar area... More

While visiting my niece in Charlotte, she treated her mom and me to dinner at BlackFinn. We sampled each other's dish. They were all delicious. I am glad that we chose to eat outside, because it gave us a chance to "people watch". The service was good. Because I was in a "pay it forward" mood, and my niece paid,... More

The fried calimari & fried jalapeno took me by surprise. I'm spoiled by the combination now. When eating the two together you really do not need any of the sauce that it came with. Whomever thought of that one, kudos. The grit cake and shrimp was full of flavor too.

Had a business dinner here, looked like a great place....excellent bar, great selections! Went into the restaurant and really looked good with no one around. 10 of us together, pushed a couple tables together. All was good until the rest of the patrons arrived in the place. The tables were so close together all throughout the place that you couldn't... More

I went here in Friday night with friends. It looked really packed and we had to wait for a while to even find a sit. We ordered couple of dishes for our dinner along with cold beers. The food was out of the world and really enjoyed the time here. We went upstairs where bar is and had couple of... More

I find it hard to get a really good Greek salad outside of NYC but BlackFinn had one! I loved it. Dressing was outstanding. I also ordered the French onion soup. Another great choice. Light broth and not too salty!

We had a late lunch here on Saturday. Their food was excellent and their menu items were reasonably priced. Wait staff was excellent! We will eat here again!

This place is great! Totally a place I would take my husband too for a relaxing date night. Has a great saloon style atmosphere, with plenty of TV's so everyone can watch the game. Plus they have beer on tap and the quintessential sweet southern tea. We all ordered salads for lunch and there were no complaints. Salads were fresh... More
