Great fish and chips !

Spent lunchtime here at Blackfinn on my first full day in Charlotte. On the ground floor of the Epicenter this pub attracted me straightaway as I was able to sit out and enjoy a meal and a drink or two in the sun. I chose the fish and chips, beer-battered haddock, served with coleslaw, tartar... read more

Having numerous food allergies finding good food at decent prices is always a challenge. BlackFinn offered the variety to satisfy my needs ( chef specially prepared), my husband and our 15 y/o son. Our wait-person was very friendly, attentive and helpful. Our food was delicious and plentiful all at a very decent price! We also loved the photos of Charlotte... More

this is one of the best places for burgers. Big and juicy. Not overcooked and dried out. the mac and cheese is great. Seating can be a problem at times. The entire dinning room was rented but we lucked up and were able to snag a booth in the bar.

Pleasantly surprised by the delicious meal at BlackFinn in downtown Charlotte. While the hummus appetizer was a little disappointing (pita was too greasy and hummus was too dry)... The Sea Bass was great. Full plate of snow peas and nice size piece of fish. It was grilled and moist, nicely seasoned. The coconut curry rice cakes were too perfectly round... More

They have some outdoor seating, a bar area, and a dining area all separated which is very nice depending on what you like. We sat in the dining area and had great service. Food was delicious. We had the bacon wrapped meatloaf and it was so good. It is located in the Epic Center near lots of other restaurants but... More

Meaning that we loved it!!! The place was recommended to us by one of the locals. My husband and I went there for lunch. We had a great waitress, Raquel. (And if you're reading this, sorry we were unable to get back for dinner but will be returning in July.) Very pleasant atmosphere. Seating indoors and out. Indoors there were... More

Great staff and nice selection of beers. Other than that it is greasy, done by everyone, fried pub grub. three stars instead of two for beer selection and workers. Terrible bourbon selection.

I actually give the place more than 5 stars. The atmosphere is great, we sat outside on the patio. The staff is absolutely the best! Everyone of them went out of their way for us. We felt like a celebrity. The food is beyond words-the best! The chef creates the menu and Wow, fantastic. I had grilled shrimp with grits... More

We stopped in to have a drink and an appetizer while exploring the "Queen City". The atmosphere was friendly and prices were about right. They had a good beer selection and our spring rolls were great!

Staff friendly, crowded bar at happy hour with all of the bankers in the area stopping in for a drink, but if you can visit before 5PM, BEST fried chicken tacos I have ever eaten! Upstairs available for rentals for large parties, nice deal to feed numerous people on a budget.
