Had a solo meal here just a week ago. Asked the server for her recommendations on food and beer, and it was excellent. It has been a long time since I had a meal where i used the bread to soak up every last bit of juice on my plate...

Great place to try once. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Not exactly the place to go for a romantic evening out - the lighting a little too bright. Need to dim the lights and add candles and soft music or even a live musician to create more of an evening presence. Multiple tables empty on a weekend for dinner. And... More

We were staying in Charlotte for one night (after a week in MB) as we were flying home out of CLT. It was about 7pm, and with a hungry wife and two young daughters in tow I had to choose something fast. Jumped on Yelp & TripAdvisor and his place caught my attention. I booked a 8:30pm reservation via OpenTable... More

Nice staff, busy environment. I had the fried chicken cooked well and enjoyed at the bar. Great atmosphere for any occasion.

Solid southern fare, nothing really jumps off the page at you. If not for the charitable cause, you would think the atmosphere is way to stuffy and the food way overpriced.

Made reservations for lunch based on TripAdvisor reviews. Then realized it's a non-profit restaurant to help the hungry! What a fantastic concept and a wonderful place to have lunch! Christian music, good Southern cooking and for a good cause. Can't recommend it enough!

I like this restaurant. They delivered exactly what I expected. It did not taste like a home-style Sunday dinner however, I was not disappointed. The menu is limited however, that was understandable considering how fast they were getting customers in and out. I ordered the fried chicken, mac and cheese and collards. The collards lacked salt, which is not a... More

We were driving through on RT 277 to Florida and read a review on Tripadvisor. The only thing that made us hesitate was that although we had GPS, it did look like we would be in the business district of Charlotte with anticipation of congestion and confusion, would it really be worth it? As it turned out driving in Charlotte... More

This place is frequented by the uptown business crowd, and you will understand why when you visit. Excellent food at very reasonable prices. The Blackened fish has been one of my favorites.

I sought out this restaurant for lunch when we were in uptown Charlotte because I liked their mission of helping those less fortunate. We sat outside and had a lovely server. The menu was a bit more limited than I had expected, and the sandwiches were a bit small, but they were very tasty and satisfied us. It was busy,... More
