Great food and superb service

We read the reviews and couldn't wait to try King's Kitchen. We were there for the beginning of lunch. Fast, polite service. Excellent food (both had fried chicken). Definitely a must go.

We were there for lunch on a weekend. It was busy, crowded, and very noisy. Some acoustic damping might be a good idea. It's sort of a deli atmosphere, with menu ordering. They offer mostly sandwiches and salads for lunch. The food is good. There are so many great places to eat in Charlotte that there doesn't seem to be... More

I've been here for breakfast before, and the biscuits and gravy were awesome. Finally came for dinner. I was really wanting the fried chx, but the waiter pushed me towards the shrimp & grits. I'm glad he did. It was the best I've ever had. Great beer & wine selection, perfectly executed dishes. And profits go to help the local... More

A very good meal---attentive service, good wine/beer selections, nice entrees and sides. The story behind what the owners of this restaurant are trying to do, coupled with service and food quality, gives it five stars in my book.

We were traveling back home & got stuck in Charlotte because of the snow and ice on I-77. My son looked up things to do and places to eat and this restaurant was his choice. We ate out on the patio so I really don't know what the interior looked like. The food was very good and we enjoyed it... More

Excellent food, good service. Highly recommend the shrimp and grits. They also offer some great local craft beers on tap

Absolutely one of my favorite places to go and when I have family or company coming in from out of town this is one of the dining spot I often take them to. I have never had an entrée there that I did not like. One of my favorites is their fried chicken-delicious, juicy on the inside with a crispy... More

The food and the service at the King's Kitchen is stellar! You will definitely want to go back once you've eaten there! Don't miss out on the corn bread and deviled eggs!

I have so many wonderful things to say about the Kings Kitchen. First off, I respect the mission of this non-profit restaurant and what they give back to the community. Angela, was our waitress & she was fantastic as well as the other staff. My husband had the duck special and I had the shrimp & grits which was delicious.... More
