Eat well, Do good.

I love King's Kitchen for many reasons. The food is excellent, the prices very reasonable, and their mission is admirable. How many not-for-profit restaurants do you know of? they employ the unemployable and train them in every aspect of the restaurant business... and all the profits are used to... read more

Went here on business with a large group. Very accommodating. Everyone in the group loved their food from the southern fried chicken to the pot roast to the shrimp and grits…you cannot go wrong here with anything that you order. I had the soup and I am craving it now!! Excellent wait staff. The only disappointment was that they were... More

They contacted us in advance to be sure they met our needs for our reservation for six. We had a very nice round table which was far enough away from other diners and... More

Food was southern authentic, the staff was friendly and great, very clean and modern, and as a non profit proceeds help the needy.

I ate breakfast there today with a buddy from work. I had scrambled eggs, bacon and grits which were good. My friend also tried the sweet potato hash and liked it. Wasn't crowded at all. Great service. I haven't found many full service breakfast options uptown so glad to know about this.

I decided to take the morning off for my husbands birthday and take him out to breakfast. This was a new restaurant for us and we were very pleasantly surprised. My breakfast/biscuit sandwich was huge and all for 5.00. My husbands over easy (perfectly cooked) eggs and bacon were great. Love that they source many products locally. We'll be trying... More
