Great food and atmosphere

I stopped by here for lunch one afternoon and was blown away. I enjoyed their Southern comfort food. I had pan-seared salmon, collard greens, mac&cheese, green beans and a biscuit. The food was cooked to perfection. The staff was pleasant. Everything was delicious. The facility was clean and... read more

Only been there one time but I will be back! Makes eating just plain food really fun. Everything I ordered was delicious and service was A+. As the saying goes, try it...you will like it! I had the Tri-tip steak and FF's. And I was impressed with the evening meal being referred to as "Supper" on the menu.

I always enjoy The King's Kitchen and their southern Comfort food! Prices are reasonable and food is always great. I recently had the Beet Salad and the Chicken Meat +Three sides. The Fried Chicken was awesome. The Mac and Cheese was wonderful but the black eyed peas were hardly seasoned. They also have a take out service which is very... More

Made reservations for a recent Friday night and we were seated promptly upon arrival; was not very busy at 7pm. Appetizer of Hoppin' Johns with Carolina gold rice was fantastic - not your typical app, but flavor was great. Per my husband, his salmon was cooked perfectly. I had a crab cake - full of lump crab and not much... More

I went to the King's Kitchen from looking over the posts. Don't always believe what you read. I was greeted well and shown to my table. The waitress Kristin came over filled my water glass and stated that drinks were on the back of the menu and walked away. She came back to take my order and I asked here... More

Had salmon Mac and cheese yams green beans. Best Mac and cheese ever had in a restaurant. Love the principle of employing and feeding. I was glad to support the principle eating such a great meal. Our waiter personable.

This is a place where you will feel good after dining and not just because you had great food, but also because you supported a great cause. Kings Kitchen isn't simply a novelty, it's a solid restaurant that mixes its charitable and spiritual mission with great food and fresh takes on Southern favorites. My wife and I shared the sweet... We read the reviews and couldn't wait to try King's Kitchen. We were there for the beginning of lunch. Fast, polite service. Excellent food (both had fried chicken). Definitely a must go.

We were there for lunch on a weekend. It was busy, crowded, and very noisy. Some acoustic damping might be a good idea. It's sort of a deli atmosphere, with menu ordering. They offer mostly sandwiches and salads for lunch. The food is good. There are so many great places to eat in Charlotte that there doesn't seem to be... More
