Awesome Attention to Detail and Customer Service

I love this restaurant for many reasons: they are a non profit, 100% of the proceeds go to feed the hungry in and around Charlotte, NC; the food is wonderful, southern cuisine is wonderful and you must try the coconut cake; the servers are delightful and will bend over backwards for you as... read more

Maybe it was the time of the day, but I was disappointed. Corn bread was hard. Yams were cold. Nobody else complained, so I kept quiet. It was 2:30, and they close at 3 for lunch.

The Kings Kitchen is a great concept and I was excited and anxious to dine here. I got their signature dish the fried chicken with collard greens, Mac n cheese and creamed corn with corn bread. My friend had basically the same. I want to tell you that it was one of the best meals in Charlotte but it was... More

This is a happy place. This concept in a restaurant (truly offering a Hand UP) is reason enough to check it out, but the friendly, knowledgeable staff and AMAZING food are the reasons I will be back! Thank you to our kind and attentive waiter, with his vast knowledge of the menu and beer offerings, and to the brilliant minds... More

This is a lovely restaurant. I won't explain its cause - you can read that elsewhere. But everything we experienced here was awesome. The waiter was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the items on the menu. The food, very hearty and filling, was delicious. Mac and cheese, fried chicken, fried oysters - this is not a meal for those counting... More

Always stop here for Southern comfort food and sweet tea when I'm dashing around Charlotte. Eat lunch at the bar and you're sure to get great service quickly.

This is a non-profit restaurant owned by Roosters!... The profits help feed the less fortunate in Charlotte... The food is good and you feel great eating there as you know your money is helping to feed those in need.

We came here for breakfast today, on our way to checking out of our hotel. We had the oatmeal with pecans, raisins, brown sugar and peaches, as well as freshly squeezed orange juice. Everything was great. The restaurant (we ordered takeout by the way) was nicely set up, looks comfortable. The ingredients for the

The staff here is phenomenal, especially our waitress, Charity. Although the restaurant wasn't crowded, our food did take a long time, and when it arrived, we were not very impressed. The scallops were over seasoned and chewy and the pot roast was a bit dry. We did enjoy the sweet potato fritters as an appetizer.

I loved this food! All 4 in my party had the fried chicken. All different sides, but I had the Mac n cheese, sautéed cabbage (YUM), and the green beans. It was blissful! Had the sweet potato fritters with honey and a delicious sparkling rose wine to begin. I could kick myself for not writing down the name of that... More
