Best Thai in CLT

In a relatively weak crowd, DeeJai is our go to for Thai. They have the usual dishes, prices are reasonable and decent wine list for Thai. Doesnt hurt that they have Brella (one of our favorite mid range Pinots). Also has outside dining. Good for families. Service is decent, can be spotty.

Amazing Thai food with dishes not normally offered at other Thai restaurants. Assorted curries and plenty of vegetarian options. We Will be back.

Small place with big flavors. Just got home from another wonderful dinner at our favorite Thai place in Charlotte. The curry pot stickers are excellent. I am addicted to dumplings in any form and these were delicious. The curry sauce is a nice addition. The tempura shrimp was very good (the calamari was slightly overcooked, however). The tom kha gai... More

I have been coming to Deejai for over 5 years and it still remains my favorite Thai restaurant in Charlotte. The service is fast, prices are reasonable and everyone is very friendly.

My wife and I were visiting our daughter who recently moved to Charlotte. This restaurant is located in a strip-shopping mall. On a weekday night we didn't have reservations but were seated promptly. The Tom Kha soup with shrimp was seasoned right and very flavorful. We had Pad Thai, and Panang Curry. All our dishes were tasteful and portions were... More

We recently moved to Charlotte from the Seattle area and were desperate to find a good Thai place to satisfy our cravings. (Seattle was a Mecca for Thai food lovers!) We have tried many different places and weren't all too impressed; it seemed to us that too many Thai places were trying to be too many different things to too... More

Recently moved back to the Charlotte area and need to find new "go-to" places to eat. We think we've found our "go-to" for Thai. We have been there twice in as many weeks and were very pleased both times. Excellent Pad Prik on first visit and the Red Curry on second visit put all others I have had (and it's... More

So why the average rating? Quite simple: The food was, well, average. We started off with the "Talay Tod Krob." The shrimp had quite a thick batter coating, and the batter on the calamari didn't adhere after dipped into the homemade chili sauce which was very tasty. I ordered the "Pad Kee Mao" and that was pretty good. The heat... More

Discovered this by chance, and was pleasantly surprised (it is in a small strip mall next to a small movie theater). The appetizer of Basil Rolls were shrimp, lettuce, and basil wrapped in a thin rice noodle (served cold), and quite good, especially with the tangy sauce that came with it. The Mountain Beef was tasty and mild; The Lemon... More

Went in the evening with a large group and everyone ordered a different plate. I normally don't like Thai food but my plate was extraordinary. Everything on it was perfectly made and the tastes were astonishing. I sampled a few other of my friend's dishes and agreed with them they were excellent. Service was great as well. This is a...
