Delicious and delightful

I dined here with friends after a theatre matinee. We were delighted to find a beautiful Italian menu with reinvented classics. There are several wonderful choices for every thing. We had an early dinner here before a concert. Aria is in the same complex as the Blumenthal and within walking distance of the Knight Theater. The food was good to very good, but not spectacular. I had a special yellow fin tuna with eggplant caponata that was tasty. The roasted beet salad was okay. Service was prompt and pleasant... More

Valet parking certainly helps to alleviate any issues with parking in uptown. We arrived for a 7pm reservation on a Friday night and found the restaurant 1/2 full. We were seated immediately and our waiter wasted no time greeting us. While he boasted that he was knowledgeable about the extensive wine menu (only Italian wines) we found he wasn't. That... More

Just a quick business lunch so I only expected a good meal and quick, efficient service. The waitress was "ok" - she disappeared after our food was delivered. The salad was good. It's a lovely restaurant. I would try it for another, more relaxed meal, which I suspect is where they shine.

Apparently Charlotte has a restaurant tour once a month where you visit and get a three course meal for $30. Our son in law and daughter took us there on July 17. The place is gorgeous, has a talented duo of musical entertainers with a great guitarist and a wonderful vocalist. The gnocchi (my favorite pasta) are available as an... More

Our service was spot on. Very knowledgeable server. The only unfortunate part was the noise - very hard to have a conversation without yelling. However, it was about 9pm on a Friday night so I can't really complain. Overall a great Italian establishment in downtown Charlotte!

Enjoyed Aria on a Monday evening. The food was very good and service was not rushed. Dinner and wine was reasonably priced. I would go again.

Enjoyed this meal very much.....well prepared food and interesting choices. Shared appetizers were delicious..carmelized gnocchi and caprese salad. Ciabatta bread and seasoned beans on the table were tasty. The scallops were huge and well prepared on an interesting bed of salad and veggies. Service was attentive and sincere
