Great Place To Eat Before a Show!

We ate here with another couple before seeing Celtic Women at The Blumenthal. Nice atmosphere and good food at reasonable prices. Two of us had The Scottish Salmon and it was very good. Scallops and Spaghetti rounded out our table. All of the food was good and well prepared. Great food and great... read more

Me and my boyfriend went there for his birthday . We sat at the bar and we had an assortment of bar bite food . I love the meatball slider but not a fan of the lamb not enough meat just bone and I don't like the sauce too much . We had a bottle of wine very offordable Pinot... More

Loved our first visit last August and had to go back. Enjoyed our food and service was good. No complaints, I did ask for my wine to be served in a "proper" wine glass,Ike a previous reviewer I didn't like the "lo-ball" and the waitress explained that it was "Tuscan style". Definitely try it the good is extremely tasty!!

Lovely setting with many different areas for you to enjoy you Italian fare. We were lucky enough to sit in the Chef's/Kitchen table. It was great to see the kitchen staff work their magic preparing some great creative fare. They have traditional items on their menu along with some twists on classic dishes....this is what makes this joint stand out.... More

We have dined at Aria on 3 separate occasions and each visit has been a terrific experience. The menu offers many options of not so ordinary Italian entrees. I particularly enjoyed our baked ricotta appetizer and lobster linguine entrée . The claw meat was sweet and cooked to perfection as was the al dente linguine. The wine list is extensive... More

First time dining here and it was very good. Parking was a bit of a hassle but most downtown locations are. Hostess was a bit air headed, she asks our name 3 times, 4 if you include that when I walked up I said my name, party of 3, reservation at.... I had the lobster linguine, wife had the lasagna... I had the lasagna & my friend had gnocchi. Both were excellent. Good wine list - service fine. Only complaint was being near 2 large & loud group parties. Next time, I would request a table downstairs. They had some live music there too, which would have been nice to hear

Just stopped in for a quid bite before heading.off to a show. Was quite impressed with the service, food came out very quickly and was delicious. I had the salmon burger which was cooked perfectly and was quite yummy. The tiramisu was AMAZING. Definitely worth a visit

We arrived before our 7:30 reservation and there was a line out the door of people trying to check in. We weren't seated til after 8pm. Our first choice wine was unavailable, but that's not a big deal. Salads were delicious! My salmon was overcooked and the risotto was so overcooked it resembled barley. My husbands scallops were overcooked but... More

We had a great meal here and couldn't believe how reasonable the prices were for Uptown Charlotte. The couple with us had the wrong appetizer brought to them, but it was quickly corrected and they let us enjoy the one they brought in error too. Overall, this is a great Italian place to go to if you don't want to... More
