Great atmosphere, great food

Went with a couple of friends, and the food was so delicious and pretty! 1st course, beet salad, the passion fruit and goat cheese made this dish. It was very good. My favorite part of the meal and what I would go back to eat 4 servings of, Brie Brulee. It had apple chutney and pepper jelly... read more

Loved it! Food was really good. I had the vegetable sandwich with side of veggies. My son had the French toast. Husband had the morning burger with egg on it. Service was great. Restaurant wasn't too crowded for Saturday at 10:30-12:00. Allowed us to chat with friends we hadn't seen in a while and not feel rushed. Great coffee and... More

We went here for restaurant week, and it was delicious. I upgraded for the scallops dish, and it was so delightful. They had some great choices and all are sure to please. We had been here a year or so ago, and forgot how great the service and food is. Be sure to check this place out on your next... More

My husband made reservations for Bistro La Bon for Queen's Feast week-end. We had been here in the past but were not regulars. I'm glad we decided to choose the fixed menu because there were too many choices on the regular menu. We enjoyed Beet Salad, Tomato Soup, Brie Brulee, Lamb, Lavender Chicken, Salmon & Swedish Meatballs, as well as... More

Went there with another couple for Charlotte Restaurant Week. I expected the atmosphere to be fancy-schmancy, upscale, and uncomfortable. I was so pleasantly surprised that the place was nicely decorated, not formal and the tables were set up in a way that allowed you to talk to your friends and not hear all the conversations around you. We were seated... More

I ate here with 3 other friends one Friday night. We decided to order a bunch of the small plates and split them. I would definitely recommend going this route so that you can try more things. Everything that we had was wonderful! We tried the fried brussels, butternut squash lasagna, pan seared potato gnocchi, and the lavender chicken. My... More

My friend and I decided that we wanted to visit Charlotte from Columbia, SC. While there, we went to Bistro La Bon. I loved the vintage chic atmosphere. Everything was gorgeous!! The food was also very good and reasonably priced. I got the mussels and fries lunch special and enjoyed it!! The waitress was patient and informative!

This restaurant is hands down one of the best in Charlotte. I literally woke up the next morning wanting my dinner for breakfast. The mussels and gnocchi are mouth watering. Going back tomorrow morning for brunch. HIGHLY recommend this amazing restaurant!!

We went to the Bistro La Bon for what we thought was a quick brunch. After a forty five minute wait after ordering, we were finally served our food. The waitress was very apologetic and offered us a variety of pasties as compensation for our long wait. It was a nice gesture, but didn't make up for the very slow... More

Had a late dinner here with my two brothers and 3 nephews. Service was great, decent wine list, food was very good. Would recommend to others.
