Go for the brisket, not the service!

I recently stopped in for a brunch on a rainy Sunday morning. The brunch buffet was nice. I had the best brisket that I'd ever had. It literally melted in my mouth. Also the biscuits and gravy were amazing. The buffet also included cheese grits, desserts, cheeses and grits. The inside atmosphere... read more

We had heard good things about this restaurant and were excited to try it. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We ordered our wine, appetizers and entrees. It took 30 minutes for the appetizers to come out. These appetizers with chilled and did not have to be cooked just prepared. We asked about our wine. By the time the wine was... More

We go out to eat at least 4 times a week in Charlotte. I would usually never leave a negative review but over the last 20+ years of dining at various restaurants, I have never experienced service like I did last night. Our server Ashleigh, was without a doubt the worst server I have ever had. The thing that kills... More

Outside unremarkable but inside was great! Waitress attentive and friendly. Had luncheon special with salad and was not disappointed. Owner/manager came to our table to inquire about service and to welcome us. Overall, great experience.

The most fancy and incredible brunch experience I've ever had, to begin. I would highly recommend having reservations (especially on a weekend) as my friends and I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and had to lurk by the bar as the wait for a table was around 30-40 minutes. It was worth the work though! The buffet was spectacular and... More

This was my first time visiting and there was six of us out for dinner. Great entrance and very comfortable bar area with tables around the bar and couches around the room. Very cool atmosphere and unique design to the restaurant, which I very mjch liked. The food was excellent although be prepared for small portions. The Octopus is a... More

For a restaurant in an older strip-mall, surprises await! This part of town is known more for eclectic than fine dining, but Bistro La Bon is the exception. Creative dishes, attentive service, and an outstanding weekend brunch are all winners.

I I love this place. Small plates artfully presented. I always go with a few friends and we order many plates and enjoy a culinary trip around the world.

Unexpectedly had to be in Charlotte for Sunday. Went onto Trip Advisor to find a place for brunch. You did not let me down. A real food delight. Sunday brunch is a buffet - but what a buffet. They take grits to a whole new plane with their Asiago Cheese Grits. Plenty for vegetarians - roasted vegetable, potato gratin, fresh... More

Simply one of the best dining experiences in Charlotte. We have eaten here at least four times, and the last time was fantastic. We began with the Jamon Iberico de Bellota and assorted cheeses and worked our way to the small plates: Pan Seared Gnocchi, Lavender Chicken, and Rack of Lamb. All were incredibly flavorful, especially the pumpkin bread substituted... More
