We came to experience Charlotte and were pretty picky about where we ate. He had plenty of time during the day to research where we wanted to eat. This place was by far our favorite. The food was unreal, wine selection great and the service just as good. A must if you are in town!

What's good: great, open space both upstairs and down. This is a tremendous place to go after work for drinks and a light meal. Service was excellent. Food was good. I had black bean sliders and grilled chicken wings. Sliders were just ok. Grilled wings were excellent. My wife had apple and brie salad and a cheese plate. They were... More

We decided to try Dandelion Market for brunch on a recommendation from other family who had enjoyed dinner here a month or so prior to my visit. They have a Bloody Mary bar on Saturday morning which is a fun way to start your day. The food at Dandelion is absolutely noteworthy. I enjoyed one of the best crabcake eggs... More

A small and ambient restaurant that had suitable privacy in between tables. Menu isn't extensive but they have good favorites and comfort food. I had the grilled cheese and tomato soup and was very pleased with the presentation and taste. The bread was perfectly crispy and the soup was so good, one of the best I've had I think. Service... This place looks like an Irish pub on the outside, and inside serves American-inflected tapas. Fine beer selections, adequate wine. We were there the Saturday before Halloween and Charlotte was rockin'--we ourselves were glad to find a place just a little quieter, but with a bit of Halloween cheer, as it were. The take on "surf and turf" was very... More

We have been to Dandelion a few times and always loved our meal. Our last visit was with a group of 7 people and we were able to try many of the different tapas. The calamari, shrimp bruschetta, sweet potato gnocchi, shrimp & grits were all delicious! They also have good wine bottles for only $25!

This was our first time at DM and I heard good things about it. I live uptown, so there are lots of places to choose from. I heard this a good place from our neighbor/friend so my wife and I tried it out. Not real busy when we got there on a Friday afternoon at 5:30 ish, but it filled... More

Right in the epicenter of Charlotte, th u s historic building might have been anything. Very high wooden beamed ceilings. Original brick walls. Menu variety could please all. Very accommodating about dietary restrictions. Superb service.

When we walked in, three of us thought this was going be great. Nice atmosphere, attentive service. Small plates to share. The ribs were good, but they had run out of the chef's sausage plate, the shrimp bruschetta was mostly tasteless, and the sea scallops were so salty that we left one on the plate.

The food here is good, but not "fabulous". We went on a Friday night around 7:30. It was so dark inside that we had to use our phones to see the menus (the waitress said that's what everyone has to do). By 9pm the music was turned up so loud that we were shouting across the table to have our... More
