Modern trendy Thai featuring all the classic dishes

Fresh and bright Thai cuisine, featuring all the classic dishes you would expect, with a trendy vibe. The basil curry was a stand-out success while the red curry was under-spiced and a little bland. The mango sticky rice dessert wasn't available but the carrot cake was an acceptable substitute. Our... read more

This is a wonderful place for Thai food in Charlotte. Prices here present a great value, the food is fresh and very well prepared, the servers are friendly, helpful, & check on our table in a timely fashion. Our table of four had very tasty offerings of perfectly cooked Basil Tilapia, Pad Thai, Pad See Eu Chicken, along with a... More

We stopped in Basil Thai for dinner on a quick one-day trip in Charlotte and couldn't be more pleased. The basil fresh spring rolls and Thai Basil stir-fry were both really nice. It was refreshing to find a place that accommodated a vegan diet.

Spur of moment decision had hoped for a burger. The nearby burger spot looked subpar so this was a fallback option. Service was good atmosphere was nice food was ok. Wish I could be more excited by it but I have had much better Thai elsewhere.

Everyone enjoyed their food. The drinks were good as were the basil spring roll appetizers we got. Didn't have a reservation but got in on a Friday with minimal wait.

every time Wifey comes to town, it seems sooner or later we find ourselves here. This time I swore to stop stuffing myself with duck and tried traditional Thai dishes. Went with chicken Nam Sod and loved the cross between an app and a salad. Then had Pad Thai as tradition bound to Thai as it gets, and suddenly, I... More

After reading the reviews, we were looking forward to a good meal after a long 8 hour drive. Unfortunately the experience was woefully bad. The green curry was watery. The pad Thai was mediocre. And the Lava Shrimp took the cake as the worst. For 27 bucks, we got 6 shrimps in a weird tomato sauce. 100 bucks later, our... More

Visited on a Monday night which is 50% off bottle of wine night so it was pretty busy. Service was spot on and the food was very good. I eat Thai about once a week back home in Boston so I am a tough critic but they passed the test. Would recommend - you can get an ice cream next... More

We have been to three locations and this one is by far the least desirerable. The waiter couldn't answer our questions about the menu and was not attentive. My wife ordered her meal mild and I ordered the whole fish and wanted it thai hot, which was the spiciest on their scale. When our food came they had made my... More

The red curry is fantastic. Good blend of coconut and heat. Theyadded broccoli as we requested. The basil spring rolls were fresh, delicate, and delicious. Highly recommend!
