Pad Thai is the best!!!

I went to this restaurant so many times and always busy. I now find the perfect time that it will not get crowded at lunch time. We usually get there sharp 11:30 and that is so far the best time. I tried many dishes from green curry, red curry and there appetizers but always fond of Pad THAI here... read more

This place was not good at all. There were no chiles put into any of the dishes, even when Kenny said there were. I understand trying to keep spice level down but missing the chiles changes the flavor. Even the buddha they put up for decoration was not Thai, it was Burmese. Worst thai food experience my Thai wife has... More

I enjoyed my lunch visit to Basil Thai today! I never know what dish to order because they are all fabulous. I had the steak and stuffed shrimp salad today. Fun atmosphere. Pleasant and knowledgable staff. If you are in the uptown area, please eat here!!!

My wife and I shared a Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai that was amazing and they offered us three levels of hot sauce/powder to test ourselves. I tried them all, in small dozes of course and they enhanced my eating experience. The restaurant is beautiful.

The food was tasty but you need to be very specific about their definition of how spicy a dish is. Pleasant atmosphere, excellent service and some unusual dishes. Heavily weighted to seafood dishes but they do have beef and poultry choices. Nice wine list and very convenient to Belk Theatre for dining before a show. I would return there again.

We were looking for something different. New city, atmosphere was important. We walked a while and looked down and saw a Chic little Thai Cuisine spot. It's located in the lower level of a very nice building on a hip strip. I ordered Green Curry and the Basil Roll, good. Not sure if I would dine there again. there are... More

This is an easy stop for uptown events. It is large enough so that even without reservations, your wait is generally not too long. Good appetizers and meal choices. Also, very good wine selection, which is not always true of a Thai restaurant.

Daughter is a culinary student at Johnson & Wales University and we had dinner here one night while we were dropping her off at school. The rice paper rolls are the best I've had since my favorite Vietnamese place close and the peanut sauce was fabulous. Four of us ate for a reasonable price (no alcoholic beverages) and the food... This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Charlotte. The food is still amazing, but the portions have been significantly reduced. Service and atmosphere is wonderful.

I've eaten here several time and it never disappoints. The Pad Thai, Pas See Ew and green curry are fantastic. We also had the wonton appetizer and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is busy but fun and casual attire is OK.
