Amazing!

I've eaten here several time and it never disappoints. The Pad Thai, Pas See Ew and green curry are fantastic. We also had the wonton appetizer and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is busy but fun and casual attire is OK.

Ever since I moved back to Charlotte, I wanted to try Basil Thai Restaurant because of how many good things I had heard about it from family, friends and colleagues. I finally visited for my birthday and was not disappointed! Our server was wonderful and knew the menu like the back of his hand. From the loose-leaf jasmine tea and... More

I was with a peer in the area, but neither one knew the area... So trip adviser came handy! Top 50 in 2000+ and with reason!!! My college had bad experience with Thai food before, so was hesitant, but I convinced her. So, I had some pressure to hope she like it and it was a great relieve when she... More

Basil rolls, Tilapia/Shrimp with veggies, MacMurry pinot noir - all super. Service was very good. Location is 3 blocks from Trade/Tryon, the heart of Charlotte.

Had the Masaman and it was good. Nice flavor mild heat and they give you a ton of rice. Might ask for medium heat next time. Sat at the bar since I was solo and the service was excellent!

After spending a day at a conference, my wife and I decided to try a local thai restaurant for dinner. After finding Basil Thai on trip advisor, we went out on foot and was able to locate the restaurant with no problems. We were greeted with a warm welcome and our waitress was very helpful. Upon getting our food, we... More

My team took me out to lunch at Basil last week, it was my first visit. We ordered the fresh rolls to share and I had the pad thai with miso soup. The fresh rolls were true to their name and were served with a very tasty sweet/spicy dipping sauce. The pad thai was amazing, it had both chicken and... More

Def the best Thai in Charlotte. The flavors here are amazing. They make the best Pad Woon Sen. Really, everything is very good. I give it 4 rather than 5 because it's expensive for Thai and the last time I was there the service was not great. Was an off night because usually the service is good. Order medium spice... More

After a long flight into Charlotte my daughter and I were craving Thai food. We found this restaurant by luck! The food was terrific. Our waitress was Gennifer, and she was very informative, attentive, and overall provided great customerservice. We had egg rolls for an appetizer and they were piping hot and delicious. Please note an order only has two... More

I always try to find some thai food when I travel, and I'd say this one is an average good thai restaurant, but probably the best you can find in Charlotte. We had to wait 20 minutes to be seated, but the plate was fast. We ordered curry chicken and tofu and it was great! However, the portion is not... More
