Excellent place to have quiet conversations on comfortable furniture. Menu a bit pricey, but delicious.

If you have time to head a short way from Uptown, make it a point to visit Amelie's during your stay in Charlotte. Every French pastry you can imagine plus awesome baguettes - sandwiches and homemade soup, as well. Seating can be a little limited during busy times - local college students use this as a coffee house too. Sbux... More

Cute, eclectic space in noda. Order at the counter & choose a seat at a table or an elegant wingback chair while the food is prepared. The food and coffee were both great for me. I recommend for a girls brunch or lunch. I could maybe drag my husband here but it isn't a place for little kids.

This is an amazing little French bakery. The decor is fun and fanciful. My eclair was delicious, just wish I could have sampled more of their pastries, but time and good sense would not allow it.

how wonderful that you can go to eat a tasty treat all hours of the day or night. It can be crowded at normal hours but worth standing in line to have something sweet. They make all kinds of special items to eat I usually take out but it is an interesting place to sit and enjoy the "sites" of... More

I love the macaroons here so the wait sometimes is a bit long but worth it. Raspberry is my favorite! It also has nice decor and a very french mood :)

The decor, the patrons, the atmosphere are very eclectic. The food is amazing. We had dessert and coffee and were very pleased. If you want a different experience, this is it!

Ordered a cafe marcotter: vanilla bean, milk, espresso--was PERFECTION. served with a small pastry that accompanied well. order chocolate eclair to go. It was rich and absolutely amazing. Amelie's was an excellent stop for late afternoon coffee or late night pastry run. Decor was cozy and quirky as is the neighborhood. I very much look forward to returning.

This cafe resembles an eccentric old aunts place with mismatched antique/ retro furniture and old French books- such a fun atmosphere and the coffee and desserts are delicious! It's usually insanely crowded - all the time but worth the wait.
