Very classy, intimate, with high class food. Everyone was dressed up for the Michael Buble concert that night, so that also made the Mez a great sophisticated atmosphere. It's located in the Uptown City Center.

I loved the atmosphere here and the steak was delicious! So close to everything as well. It had an upscale feel to it.

Busy but still quiet enough to talk business. Servers are friendly and keep you supplied with beverages. Lunch menu extensive enough and reasonably priced.

Food was decent but the setting was very loud. Not very cozy.

I've eaten here a few times. The food and wine are always very good. Service is about average. The atmosphere is a bit odd. You enter through a movie theater with smells of hot buttered popcorn and then the restaurant itself is very dark. I've always eaten there as a business diner and it is odd to be sitting in... More

The menu was limited. I had a green salad and the mahi-mahi on spinach. It was well prepared, but uninspiring for the price. The hosts and waitstaff were attentive. Bottom line is that I'll try another place to eat on return to Charlotte and the Epicenter.

Overpriced food, pretentious atmosphere. Got mashed turnips (or at least that's what they tasted like) when the menu said mashed potatoes, husband's steak was a poor cut that they attempted to re-name on the menu. My braised short ribs were pretty good, but the turnips were a rude surprise. Theater was nice though!
