My husband took me to Chima for my birthday. I started off with the salad bar and there was quite a selection. We both tried the different all of the different meat types except the fish and they were all very delicious. tasty as well. The side potatoes were tasty as well all though I didn't care for the fried... More

My husband and I came to Charlotte for the weekend with our daughter. We decided to try Chima as we'd been to Brazilian steak houses before, but not this one. This is by far our favorite. Friendly staff and execellent food!! Well worth the money!!! Our 9 year old had never been before and loved every bit of it!! The... More

My favorite meat is the beef rib you must ask for it first, you will want more. It is juicy and it is so flavorful and melts in your month. the salmon is awesome also, do not worry if you do not eat meat. the salad bar is a world of its own. The servers will bring you the meat... More

This is our second visit to Chima, both for my husband's birthdays. We live in SC but traveled to Charlotte specifically for this treat. The selection is great, and the food is amazing from the salad bar, to the meats, to the dessert. Try everything! It's definitely pricey, so go with an empty stomach and enjoy.

My husband and I visited Chima tonight for happy hour. We had been for dinner before but had wanted to try their half-off happy hour special. We ordered one of everything "from the grille". The appetizers that are half off are all items on the left side of the menu (excluding the salmon and lamb-- which are not eligible for... More

The Salad Bar is awesome. Smoked salmon, cheeses, beef tartare, asparagus, etc. And certain cuts of meat are fabulous: parmesan crusted pork, filet, swordfish. The quality of meat has decreased over the years it seems. :( They send out a LOT of greasy sausage. The bar is phenomenal though & the staff top notch.

Visited Chima with friends while visiting Charlotte. I was a bit disappointed by the hostess when we arrived there were 3 employees at the hostess table and they didn't acknowledge us right away. This is why I'll give 4 stars instead of 5. Aside from that service at the table was wonderful. Our server was Brian and he was really attentive... More

Great salad bar and the different meat were very good. I wouldn't recommend filling up on the salad. They also will offer the meats in a progressive manner where the least expensive meats are offered first. The top sirloin was excellent as was all the cuts I tried. My wife said her coffee was the best she had ever had.

This was my second time to Chima, this time for a family dinner. We were seated downstairs this time which was a different experience. Upstairs has a nice bar, and a more quite chill vibe to the restaurant. Downstairs has larger family tables and is quite a bit louder, which initially put me off. I almost asked to be moved....
