The restaurant is lively and well appointed. Everyone seemed to be having a great time at the bar. I had the Maryland crab cakes which was okay but had too much filler for my taste but the sauce was to die for... hmmm yummy! Someone else had the pork chop and it was gone in what seemed like seconds. It... More

It is great to have several good restaurants in our Dilworth neighborhood, one of which is 131 Main. Recently my wife and I had their salmon entre, mine grilled-hers on a cedar plank-very good either way. I enjoy their devilled eggs, caesar salad, and wild rice with raisins sides. Good service but the switching of servers for drinks, entrees etc... More

I like the consistency of 131 Main. The menu is interesting, has varied items and flavors and the drinks are tasty. We have had everything from the salads, fish, ribs, desserts, and steaks. Love the outside patio too.

We started off with the smoked salmon appetizer and the spread that they serve with the perfectly prepared salmon was amazing. (I could have eaten it by the spoonfuls if I thought no one was watching!) But as amazing as the appetizer was, the baby back ribs and side of P&G coleslaw were unbelievably good. My husband and I split... More

First of all, Tues. is a great day to go. Half off wines. Not sure the Opus One at $450 or the Sliver Oak Alexander Valley at $165 fits this category but others are worth it. Gazpacho is excellent, a bit spicey but good. Chicken Tortilla is great. Crab Cake Salad is interesting with much to taste. Apricot Horseradish Chicken... More

Good food, never a disappointment and we've been eating here 2-3 times a year since they opened in 2006. Martinis with bleu cheese olives are some of the best in Charlotte...and big too!. The dark atmosphere is not for everyone but we love it. Feels very cozy. I don't like BBQ sauce and/or ribs as a rule but their ribs... More

We found the southern Charlotte location on TripAdvisor and asked the concierge at our hotel to help us with reservations. They indicated no reservations were available but first-come, first-served seating was available. We were glad we went there was plenty of space. We went on a Saturday night in mid June. Happened to catch their Prime Rib special. It was... More

Great service by two servers. Several starter choices. We had deviled eggs. Chicken sandwich was above average. Shoestring French fries made it hard to stop eating. Hubby had a local craft brew while I enjoyed a Bloody Mary. Cost for lunch was about $50. More than we'd usually pay but it was Father's Day.

Love the martinis! Wine list is pretty good, as well. Bar area can be pretty busy, but a lively atmosphere is always fun. The menu could use some updating, though. We've been going here for over 10 years and just a few tweaks would help. Salads are consistently fresh and tasty. The grilled salmon is very good. The sides lack... More
