Good meal

This was our second visit to Jujube. The food is delicious but honestly this visit wasn't as enjoyable. We felt rushed as the entree came immediately after the appetizer plates were cleared. There's nothing more disappointing unless you are in a rush! The food is delicious with a great selection... read more

Well presented, very tasty, creative food. Duck confit dumplings, pork wontons, and duck two-ways were hits. Very nice house drink made with Pimms.

I had been to JuJuBe years ago and didn't go back since I didn't think it was that great for the price. I went with friends recently and had a fantastic meal. Considering that we all tasted each other's dishes and liked them all, I'd say the restaurant is doing something right! we split two appetizers and each ordered an... More

We are visiting UNC and my son found Jujube on Trip Advisor. The ambiance and food was great. I would highly recommend it.

We've been to Jujube at least a dozen times, first time shortly after they opened in 12/2006 prompted by a gift certificate from a professor that I helped with book references. It was our first choice to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary. We are vegetarians and have found at least two appetizers and two entrees on the menu . The... More

Haven't been here for years and regret not having been back sooner. I went with my daughter and had a great Asian themed meal. We started by sharing Ha Gow, shrimp dumplings. Excellent dumplings, both the shrimp filling and the rice noodle shell, some of the best I've had, but not exactly a bargain at $7 for 3. For my... More

We love Jujube and eat there often. But since their new restaurant opened in Durham, things don't seem the same. Tonight's dinner celebrating my wife's birthday was disappointing. Plates were served one at a time, dishes were not hot, service was rude. Worse, management seems not to care. The food remains delicious, but good food without proper service, a caring... More

If you are in chapel hill and looking for the best steak in town, skip bin 54 and head to jujube..(one door down). To be frank, I dream about the lemongrass hanger steak. Peanut sauce, refreshing cucumbers, a side of complimentary rice! It may well be the best meal I have ever had. You can't go wrong with pork belly... More

I love the screened, covered outdoor patio - this is the nicest restaurant in Chapel Hill that is dog-friendly. Everything I've had here is good, but the hanger steak is my favorite.

We had a great dinner at Jujube which has an interesting mix of Asian fusion foods as well a great menu with healthy salads and unusual appetizers. We started with a kale salad, Sweet potato fritters and beef wontons and we were pleased at how yummy everything tasted. We also liked the fact that you could eat and watch the... More
