Good selection of appitizers and entrees, all it is missing is some whalebone soup. Pleasant and efficient waitstaff.

We had dinner here by recommendation of our hotel. It was so good. I had flounder and a half price wine. My husband got the trout and his was just as good. The desserts are out of this world!!! I would go again when in Chapel Hill, NC. The staff was very friendly.

We discovered Nantucket Cafe & Grill soon after moving into our home in Durham. The service is friendly, and we can usually get a seat without calling ahead. While my wife loves the crabcakes, I'm locked in on the shrimp and fried polenta with lobster sauce. They provide spinach on the plate (one healthy item!). The rest is off my... More

We were in Chapel Hill for a class and stopped in at Nantucket Grill because it was convenient to our hotel. When you walk in the front door, the first thing you see is a display case full of the most mouth-watering desserts you will ever see. We were seated quickly and our service was excellent. The menu has a... More

Nantucket Grill is one of those nice, busy neighborhood restaurants. We went on a Saturday night (let me re-iterate "busy") with three of us and a 1 year old. Service was excellent. The food was very good (salads, clam chowder, crab cake, sea food pasta, and seafood ravioli), not trying for exceptional. My grandson had his first burger (actually, his... More

Excellent food and service. Free dessert on Saturday nights with purchase of an entree. Good variety of food choices.

My spouse and I live 15 minutes from Nantucket. It''s kinda our neighborhood dining place. Service varies, but is mostly good. The food is always good! The servings are large (take the rest home for lunch). The cakes and pies are sinfully good. No fancy dress requirements. I'd recommend to all.

Although it was packed at 7:00 and we had no reservations, they seated our party of seven quickly. The menu was creative and varied, and the food was presented well and timely. We all enjoyed the meal and our visit. The service was excellent. On the down side was the noise, largely because the tables were tightly together, making conversation... More

I don't know about their dinner service, but as others have mentioned you have to pay first at lunch. It can be a little confusing since you don't place your order at a counter, but rather with a cashier in the middle of the store. Then you get a number to place on your table so the servers can find... More
