Terrific mexican food in a little out of the way spot. We have been there three or four times and ordered different stuff every time. Everything has been tasty, freshly prepared and delicious. The only downside is that seating is very limited, and we have had to get the food to go when there is no room to sit.

A friend of ours, who happens to own the gas station next door to the Fiesta Grill, recommended the Fiesta Grill to us a few years ago and we have never been disappointed. Chewy (nickname) and his wife do a wonderful job of providing a unique Mexican fresh food menu. Everything is made to order. The place is very small... More

We just love this restaurant. Very small, so plan to wait but the food is sooooo worth it (oh, and so is the sangria, yum)! Their chips are not salty at all and they make a great tortilla soup! Everything is fresh and homemade. Just great food!!!

I have lived all over the US and this little hole in the wall has the best Mexican food you can find anywhere. Good ingredients, broad menu, good service and nice people. Very small though so try to go there at off-hours. See their web site for hours and menu items.

No standard burritos & enchiladas here. Go for the ceviche on weekends (amazing)... burros Mexicanos, chili verde, or chili Colorado other times. Take-out works best, as seating is limited... but if you have the time to wait, you can take a cold Pacifico out front until your table is available. If you're looking for great Mexican food, look no further.... More

Fiesta Grill was a popular standard for REAL Mexican Food when we first found it in 2005. Since then it has been our regular first choice restaurant, even though it is a half hour round trip from Hillsborough along Orange Grove Road to Hiway 54 -- which links Chapel Hill/Carrboro/Durham with Graham/Burlington. A few of Fiesta's regulars are there for... More

The owners are from Tijuana, Mexico, and are friendly and glad to see you. The food is good, and plenty of it, with dishes like Mole that you don't see as much. It's a little out of the way, west of Carrboro on NC 54 in the White Cross community. The decor isn't fancy, and you may have to wait... More

It's about 5 miles west of Chapel Hill on NC 54 in a crossroads called White Cross. The mole is outstanding. We almost always have to wait for a table, but never for very long. It's hard to get good ethnic food in the South, but Fiesta Grill is the real thing. Service is outstanding. They provide take-out service and... More

Fiesta Grill, about 10 miles southwest of Hillsborough and seven miles northwest of Chapel Hill on Highway 54 provides North Carolina/s Best Mexican food. Possibly in the bottom 25% in ambiance and exterior appearance. Almost remote in location. Those factors alone should guarantee never having to wait to be seated. Virtually every afternoon, the plain, hard wooden benches in front... More

Don't let the drive or the prefab building mislead you - this is the best, most authentic Tex-Mex in the Chapel Hill area. No reservations so be prepared to enjoy a beer on the bench out front while you wait for a table. The whole grilled tilapia is one of our entree favorites.
