Get some egg biscuits, go to the community center park, walk around in the rose garden and enjoy your delicious breakfast.

Can't believe folks that are surprised that the biscuits are greasy! That's part of the sheer heaven of this little place!! Biscuits are huge and very good. (Not as greasy as lots of chains- Hardee's, bojangles) The bacon biscuit (or bacon and egg, etc) is my perennial favorite. Tons of tasty bacon. Large soft drink so fat it doesn't fit... More

My husband and I were in the area early one morning and happened by Sunrise Biscuit Kitchen. The line was out the driveway and into the busy street - so we thought it must be good. As vegetarians we were happy with the menu - that is why it got 2 stars in my review instead of 1. Staff were... More

When you think of Sunrise Biscuit Kitchen, you think of biscuits. They're not just famous for biscuits. I attended a family reunion recently & someone brought hushpuppies. They were delicious! Everyone was asking where did these hushpuppies come from? Sunrise Biscuit Kitchen!

I was in town visiting old friends and relatives and had to make a traditional stop at Sunrise. It was a Sunday morning and the line was about 10 deep around the building and spilling into the road. However, the staff were on their game and moved the line quickly and with southern hospitality. I got the cheddar cheese biscuit... More

I do like Sunrise, and I appreciate what a good deal it is, but be prepared to feel guilty after scarfing down some greasy chicken, slices of cheese and hash browns. So while their biscuits may be slightly larger and definitely fluffier than similar, nearby restaurants, (Flying Biscuit, Big Ed's City Market, Elmo's, Cracker Barrel), I think I'd prefer smaller... Tiny joint that's drive thru only. Never had their biscuits but have ALWAYS shot in one of their cinnamon rolls which are hot and sticky and absolutely WONDERFUL!

If you want a marvelously wonderful chicken or sausage biscuit Sunrise is your stop. Yes, this is a drive through kitchen that offers yummy selections on an old fashion board. The lines are frequently down the street but there is a reason for such. DELICIOUS!!!!

This is the second of a two restaurant mini-chain that began in Louisburg, NC in 1978 -there are some other biscuit restaurants with Sunrise in their name, but the one here is only associated with the one in Louisburg (website - sunrisebiscuits.com) The menus are, of course, very similar, as is the operation in general - the one in Louisburg...
