Sunrise's chicken biscuits should be a treat for anyone, any day -- even for guests visiting for the first time (they will want to return!) Always fresh.

Sunrise biscuits is a popular drive through biscuit house on Franklin Street. Often the line of cars extends out into the street (so it may be best to approach from the East. In addition to Bacon, egg, and sausage biscuits, they have pork chop, steak, and fried chicken. mmmmmm

When I'm out of town and looking for lunch, the 400sf, standalone, aged building with drive through service only always grabs my attention. $6.64 for the chicken biscuit w/ cheddar, hash brown and sweet tea was the find of the year! Light and "buttermilky" biscuit with a fried chicken breast that had the slight glimmer of oil telling me it... More

I have never met a buttermilk biscuit I didn't love. But I have to tell you this: when I got it line and ordered a bacon biscuit from the Sunrise Biscuit Kitchen I grew nervous – I really did. You see I figured that I was about to meet the biggest, baddest buttermilk biscuit ever. Well, there may be a... More

If you see a line of cars trying to get in to this place it is for a reason - the food is great! And it is so cheap. Dont worry about the line, these guys run a very fast service and you won't be waiting long at all.

Can't believe folks that are surprised that the biscuits are greasy! That's part of the sheer heaven of this little place!! Biscuits are huge and very good. (Not as greasy as lots of chains- Hardee's, bojangles) The bacon biscuit (or bacon and egg, etc) is my perennial favorite. Tons of tasty bacon. Large soft drink so fat it doesn't fit... More

My husband and I were in the area early one morning and happened by Sunrise Biscuit Kitchen. The line was out the driveway and into the busy street - so we thought it must be good. As vegetarians we were happy with the menu - that is why it got 2 stars in my review instead of 1. Staff were... More
