Blueberry wheat beer!

I came here regularly as an exchange student. The beers are fantastic! Make sure to try the seasonal blueberry wheat beer.

Ball game day... LOTS of people... BUSY downtown Chapel Hill. BUT, when we arrived for lunch, we were seated outside on the deck with a great view of town. Then the food came. Our waitress could not have been more attentive, and the burger was cooked to perfection. 5 stars (circles), absolutely!

We stopped in for a quick lunch and watch the Tech-UNC game. I was surprised that most patrons weren't watching the game, so it's definitely not a sports bar. What it is is a good restaurant. My wife and I shared a chopped salad and a BLT. The chopped salad was very tasty, with grilled chicken cooked to perfection. Lightly... More

We ate here on the outside heated deck this past Friday. A bit chilly unless you were right under the heaters. They should fasten the cornors of the plastic be low 50 deg and windy. Topo Gin was excellent. The Thumb and Toe app. was brought with out the 3 available sauces. Lobster Mac was very good with all claw... More

Whether you are returning back to your beloved Chaple Hill or visiting for the first time you must stop by this Franklin Street gem! Top of the Hill has become a staple to Chapel Hill! They exclude the spirit and energy of the university and its students. Great brews (love the UNC themes) and awesome food and such a great... More

While on Franklin Street and in Chapel Hill for business, a group of us visited Top of the Hill. It was highly recommended to us and the recommendations were "spot on!" The craft beer and spirits were excellent and the food was equally as good. Would like to visit during better weather and sit outdoors at this excellent location.

Good craft beer, great location and OK service---I had the French Onion Soup and a salad and they were OK, nothing special and not bad.

We stopped in after the UNC vs Duke football game. Place was packed but they seated us rather quickly. I wish they would have acknowledged us by taking our drink or food order as quickly but that took nearly 1/2 an hour. Then they only took the order for 1/2 our table and walked away. Food arrived it was good... More

People in Chapel Hill love this place, but it is a pretty typical college bar with average food. Sticky floors, greasy fried food, and lazy, careless service. The staff are not big on customer service, I suspect because they lack proper training (and because most of the clientele doesn't care how they are treated). Very average overall - don't believe...
