We go here every week throughout the year for the football and basketball coaches shows. We've never had a bad meal and the service has always been great. They have a tremendous selection of their own micro brews which are diverse and delicious. Also a great place to stop in before or after a ball game. The atmosphere on game... More

A typical college town micro-brewery and restaurant with a great view over the central intersection of Chapel Hill. Pretty decent food, too. Fun place to hang out. We live in Chapel Hill and frequently bring out of town guests here and come with friends before concerts or plays.

The food and service are always great at the Top of the Hill. The setting is University casual but the food quality and service are definitely not dormitory. This restaurant is very popular. I enjoy it most during the summer when it has become quieter.

Beautiful view of the city from up above! Great bar atmosphere, lively! Good drinks, fresh tasty food. Reasonable pricing. Loved the fried grits with mushrooms, delicious vegetarian entrees.

They have the location and they milk it. I found the place and the food to be uninspiring. I don't know what else to say but uninspired. Might as well be a chain.

I stopped by before a Tarheels basketball game. This was a cool atmosphere and the staff was great. The location was sweet as its on the 3rd floor of the main intersection of this college town. I wanted to come back after the game as I could see that it would be a fun time.

The food was average but the bar scene was vibrant with many UNC students in attendance. Our feeling was you frequent this establishment for the beer, appetizers, to be seen, and to look out over Franklin Street from the upper deck.

There's so many much more interesting restaurants in Chapel Hill. Top of the Hill has a great location and very normal food -- its good, just not a new experience.

In the summer you must sit outside and enjoy the view of Franklin Street. The food is pretty good - nothing to complain about, but nothing to rave about. Martinis are usually quite tasty!

This restaurant should be calle date Great View Restaurant and Brewery. It is about the only place in Chapel Hill where one can enjoy a tasty microbrew AND a wonderful sunset…at the top of the hill. They food is wonderful as well!
