We used to eat here frequently and thought it one of the best for the area, but we went on a Friday night and were disappointed in the food. Caesar salad was ho hum and so were the entrees. Won't rush back. .

We went here based on a doctor's recommendation back in Charlatto. We had reservations, but it was a pretty quiet Sunday night and we didn't need the reservation. We were seated in the outdoorish patio...thing. It has a lot of windows on the top so it feels like you're outside when it's actually completely covered. It felt like I was... More

An absolute delight to dine here. Known as a chapel hill hot spot, and it lived up to that reputation very well. Both of our meals were very tasty, served promptly in a cozy environment

Our son chose this restaurant for the first of our Graduation (Elon) Dinners this past weekend, as he had been here before. The atmosphere was cozy and nice (we sat "outside" in an enclosed courtyard) and our waitress was enthusiastic (a trainee waiter was shadowing her). I had pasta with vegetables-totally satisfying, as I was really hungry! My son had... More

There are few venues that can survive the test of time and still be new and innovative in their cuisine and design. I rarely miss an opportunity to visit 411 when I'm home and as it's owned by the same outstanding restaurateurs that founded other long standing dining institutions, including Spanky's and Squids Seafood, I always know I'm going to... Went here for dinner with friends... It was terrible, one of the worst meals I have had in chapel hill. My husband got the chicken parmigiana and the chicken was over cooked and rubbery. I had the shrimp carbonara, and it was so bland it tasted like the chef just poured plain heavy cream on it, and the shrimp was... More

I visited Volare Bistro for the second time today and was impressed with the food presented to me. The quality of the food was fresh, professionally executed, and very delicious. Dessert was amazing! I enjoyed the coconut chiffon cake. The chef makes all the desserts. This little restaurant is worth a visit.

We had a reservation and were quickly escorted to our seats. My husband and I shared a Caesar salad and a Luigi pizza. Both were delicious and they nicely brought out the salad divided on two plates. Others in our party had pasta and the Italian pizza. Our server was nice and efficient. I would go back! Room was bright... More

When I lived in Chapel Hill 10+ years ago, 411 West was always the place we brought visitors to enjoy a great meal and we were never disappointed. Now when we go back to visit, I'm happy to say it's still as enjoyable as I remember. Charming atmosphere, wonderful food - Favorite restaurant in Chapel Hill, no contest. Highly recommended.

The meals here are excellent, service superb. The food preparation is very high quality, has a range of vegetarian and non-veggie dishes. Italian eclectic, lots of choices and very creative. One of my favorite veggie dishes in the angel air pasta with hazelnut pesto. Also love their pizza's (individual size and flat). Several great salads too. If you are in... More
