Lunch or Dinner ... or just for a drink .... always a good choice to go

They have a great outdoor terrace ... looks a bit like a restaurant in the South of France, Italy, Spain, Portugal or Greece. Lovely trees and has a wall, so not noisy. The food is consistently good and good selection. Good sandwiches and other food. Always had very good service. The inside of... read more

I have reviewed this restaurant before and have eaten here more times than I can count. It is a favorite of my nonagenerian parents. My most recent visit was at lunch and it was bustling. We were seated rapidly in the main dining room. The menu is varied with many light plates. I ordered soup and a half sandwich. The... More

Place was ghostly, only two tables of about 7-8 people each. It took about 45 minutes to get drinks. ( 3 soft drinks , a prosecco and 3 caipirinha's ) The appetizers were good ( hence the 2 rating vs 1 ). The rest of the food was dried out and cold ( pheasant and mahi ). It took another... More

Large group dinner...i had a lovely pork chop that was also dinner the next night since the portion was so large. As a group we tried some wonderful crab dip, pimento cheese balls, and fried green tomatoes. Loved shopping in the southern seasons store attached to the restaurant before dinner too!

I went here for lunch with a friend the other day and, although what I ordered was good, I felt that there weren't very many vegetarian choices from which to pick. There were a few, but only a few, and they weren't that imaginative. This restaurant is in the shop, Southern Seasons, but you can also get to it via... More

I have wanted to visit this restaurant, but never made it a priority until July 4 when we were looking for something different for our weekly Saturday brunch. We thought the food was very well prepared and presented. My husband said his grits were the best he has ever had. I am not a grits fan, so I will take... More

Family brunch at Weathervane was most enjoyable. Vegetarian Eggs Benedict a tasty change. Sinful home fries and the lightest biscuits. All the simple things done to perfection.

We've thoroughly enjoyed The Weathervane on our visits to family in Chapel Hill. Excellent food, good service and a great location next to Southern Season - one of our favorite food and cooking stores. My wife and I particularly enjoy a leisurely breakfast or lunch followed by meandering walk through Southern Season. The cuisine is contemporary but with a lovely... More
