Nice restaurant

All plates are so sophisticated. It's so beautiful and delicious. Little bit pricy. I ordered a cocktail, well...it was okay.

We visited this restaurant on a Thursday evening, it was packed. The food was very good, much better than anything we had in Greece! The service was slow, although the waiter did apologize for this. The noise level in the restaurant was significant. Having a dinner conversation without having to raise your voice, was near to impossible.

I can not say enough GREAT things about this wonderful little gem in Chapel Hill. The food is generous, tasty and beautiful. The atmosphere is quaint, yet lively and energetic. The staff is knowledgable and accommodating, with a kitchen that delivers sensible, aromatic and perfectly balanced offerings. I STRONGLY suggest the Grilled Octopus appetizer...FABULOUS!!!

Leg of lamb was flavorful. Feta cheese plate was incredible--best part of the dinner. Great wine recommended by server.

Went for the first time with a group of 5 people. Shared the vegetable tower (fried zucchini and tzatziki); enough for all of us. Two of us tried the Pastitsio. Absolutely delicious! Rich and creamy and a huge portion. Two Naked Souvlakia (one pork and one chicken) were well seasoned but were quite small portions (at least when compared to... More

We were visiting Chapel Hill for the first time in a few years and were pleased to find a Greek tavern where Piewacket used to be. The menu was pretty impressive and the prices were quite reasonable. The four of us enjoyed the meal, the wine, and the charming Greek oud music played by the gentleman in the dining room.... More

This place has everything. Great food, large portions, great live music, very friendly service. Don't miss the trout and the tzatziki.

We had a wonderful family style menu for a post-funeral family reunion. The service and setting were great, but the food was even better. The management was attentive to detail. There was also a TV where we could watch a computer driven photo display of family pictures. We had 27 people and all raved about it. Centrally located on Franklin... More

They serve Mediterranean food which is tast and healthy. A manager named Mr. Sia explained the food history before you eat. The ingredient was really Mediterranean from my experience for Jordan food.Red wine Oeneda was very good.

Our first experience at Kipos was very good. We were so happy to see an authentic Greek restaurant in Chapel Hill. At a recent visit our experience was diametrically opposite from our first. The food took forever and when it finally arrived the food was terrible. We waited 10 minutes just for water and our bottle of wine. We were... More
