My main complaint is this...there are too many choices to choose from. I've been to Israel, Greece and Turkey and these guys hit it out of the park. Great value and the food is terrific. There's no ambiance here but that's ok. I'll definitely return!

My wife, 2 kids, and I were driving past Chapel Hill on the interstate and it was near dinner time. We found this place on Trip Advisor and the reviews made it sound great so we decided to stop. It was about 5 miles to downtown Chapel Hill, we had trouble finding parking (we ended up in one of the... More

Eat here if you are ever in Chapel Hill. Just walking by he restaurant will entice you into the dining room. Our experience was fantastic! Highly recommend to everyone we know going to Chapel Hill.

I am almost embarrassed to discover this currently rated as the #1 Dining Experience in Chapel Hill, having written well over 100 reviews here and "discovering" this place by accident. We were actually headed somewhere else for dinner, and a parking situation (no surprise in Chapel Hill, am I right?) found us literally just driving by and me going "that... More

If you love Med type food...this is the place. It makes a wonderful addition to the many ethnic/regional restaurants in Chapel Hill. Service is very fast and if you are not sure of what you are actually ordering you can go up and look at the items under the glass counter. Pricing is reasonable and the atmosphere typical of a... Med Deli is delicious! I love getting their beef kabobs and picking a couple of sides to go with them! I definitely recommend the Sun Dried Tomato Penne (cold), the bruschetta, and the hummus. After my meal, I can hardly resist getting a piece of their walnut baklava. It is a tad pricey for the tiny piece, but it is... More

You can go to the counter, order and pay, and then it gets delivered to the table. I liked that on this trip because when you travel in a mixed group, its easier than splitting a check. The food was as good as any similar restaurant in NYC. You can even get a glass of wine.

Great food, huge menu. The hummus is great. We went to pick up a carry out order for a graduation party and had to stay for a meal. Everything is fresh and delicious. Place is huge but packed since it is so good!

I have to agree with another review....while the selection is amazing, the classic flavors are not there. Good food, cafeteria style service, price is right though!

We were visiting for a wedding. Walking down Franklin we saw how busy this spot was, so we decided to give it a try. Not disappointed. Haven't had swarma since visiting Israel. Not exactly the same, but very good
