Rated #1. When my son said, we're having Mediterranean. I said, never had it. Well this place has what you want. Display cases of food, variety, comfortable setting and seating, room to move, ask lots of questions before you finalize your order, and the service is better than great. You get a stand-up number, when your food is ready, the... More

We love the Turkish Fatayet. The Greek Salad is very good. The ComplimentaryPickle, Olive, Condiment Bar is a nice touch. This place is run very smoothly. It is always busy. There are many choices. There is also a fabulous deli. We go every time that we are in Chapel Hill.

If Med Deli is not already a Chapel Hill institution, it should be. It is a simple restaurant, where you order your food at the register and it is then brought to your table. There is an enormous variety of really good dishes, both hot and cold. I enthusiastically recommend it.

I sampled a few different dishes here- cucumber salad, dolmas, spanakopita, falafel, and chicken mousakan. With the exception of the latter, they were all spectacular. Chicken filling was super tasty, but bread wrapping had been made tough by reheating, I can only guess. Condiment bar was fun and great. I are more than my fair share of kalamata olives and... More

My office used to be about a block from Med Deli and once I went there once, I was hooked. Not only are the options plentiful, but everything I've ever had there has been great. Sometimes I would eat Med Deli three days a week and then try to find another place to go on the fourth day at the... More

We visited this place for lunch and the place was buzzing with folks, it's a deli setup and there was amazing variety. We tried the Moroccan Salmon and the Lamb Gyro both were really really delicious. Definitely on our top list.

Casual fun place close to campus. I loved the Reuben Fatayer. Place is very busy during peak times. Great variety you cannot go wrong.

One goes about various parts of the Deli and selects from a large variety of Middle Eastern Delicacies. The smell of freshly baking pita bread is intoxicating. You are then served at a table and go about the business of choosing from a variety of sauces and toppings. This restaurant is very, very good, inexpensive, and presents a wonderful eating... More

What an amazing place! There is a huge variety of food and the portions they give you are overly generous. We went there for lunch--I had the lamb kabob with two side items. For one side I picked the palestine fruit salad and the other was one of the many types of humus (I don't remember which one). The dish... More
