My wife and I dined there two days ago. The service was welcoming, friendly, and professional. They were forthcoming in their recommendations and helped us order a great meal. My wife had the Coho Salmon and I had one of their excellent trout dishes (with crabmeat stuffing). The fried green tomato appetizer was very good being thickly cut and perfectly... More

The Orchard is a lovely restaurant, with great ambience. There are several dining areas, and the rooms we ate in was quite intimate. Just a few minutes' drive from the crossroads in Sapphire, it was highly recommended to us. The Orchard did not disappoint.

If I wanted service with an attitude I would have visited NYC not Cashiers. Our waitress was bossy and while efficient just hard to deal with. The food and atmosphere were both very good including the Chattoga and Almandine trout as well as the gatherers stew (vegetarian) and the pork chop. Martinis are a good value and excellent size.

If you are looking for the best mountain trout, prepared in at least 5 different variations...this is the only place. Think it might need to be a little Cashiers twist on the low country favorite, shrimp and grits, can't be beat. Who would think the fried chicken livers tops your sweet southern grandma...they do. Lovely old cottage in a beautiful... More

This restaurant is what everyone has in mind when in the "country". The rustic old building is a perfect compliment to lovely natural scenic town. The best part though is the well prepared, tasty food. Everyone at our table enjoyed their selection and our dishes of seafood and pasta and broiled (I think) swordfish was the best ever. Professional service... More

The owners are extremely friendly and the staff is equally friendly and provide excellent service. The wine & food menu offers many choices and every meal we have... More

Our only dinner out for our girls weekend. So happy that we picked this restaurant! The food is excellent and the service was superb! Three of us ordered the trout (3 different ways) and all agreed that it was amazing. I would have given the restaurant an excellent rating, but the noise in the large dining room was horrible. If... The nicest restaurant in town. The food is always good. Great menu options. It can get busy on weekends, so reservations are a must.

Best Trout in the area...bar none. If you like shrimp and grits, you'll love this dish. Make reservations - this place is no secret.
