Tapas only!

Went here based on the menu you had posted on your site. It shows the restaurant has a wider menu than just tapas. We were looking for dinner. The waitress said she has tried to update trip advisor that they only serve tapas-no lunch or dinner entrees and trip advisor has answered that there is... read more

This was a great find! We loved the food. They have a lot of different things to choose from. We were there with another couple and between us we tried a huge variety of tapas. They call them tapas but actually they are more like american appetizers - they are huge and you really don't need to order very many... More

Went to check out this place and it was a disappointment .i think it's just a bar with very large tapas . Not very good quality food. Lots of carbs no protein. The cheese platter was ok. The service was poor. One good thing was the band! . I will keep searching for a place that has good food and... More

Visited for the first time with friends last night. The drinks and food were delicious. Definitely not a typical bar with twenty-somethings roaming around. Good prices and a small, but very nice atmosphere. Our group was very casual, we saw others that were more dressy, but all were welcomed and fit in. Good place to meet before or after a... More

My three traveling friends (one being my hubby) have never experienced tapas so I thought this would be a great exposure to what I consider a fun experience. We had had a heavy lunch so I thought this would be a perfect fit. This is a small, cozy little place just a few hundred yards from the Hampton Inn. Our... More

After looking at the website menu we decided to stop by the Cork and Barrel. Was mostly a bar. Very clean and nice interior. The menu did not have a dinner option and we were informed that they only served tapas. We order 5 tapas, the deep fried goat cheese, the scallops, the pimento cheese bread things, the satay chicken... More

Unfortunately we only found The Cork and Barrel on the last night of our stay in Cashiers-Sapphire Valley. The food was by far the best we had in the area. Great service with a friendly but subdued atmosphere. It is a wine bar, and I would not think it would be appropriate for families with children.

I love the overstuffed chairs and sofas. It's like sitting in your den, having a cocktail and heavy appetizers. Located only 6.5 miles from The Woods at Buc

We were a group of 9 women friends meeting for drinks and a bite to eat and this is the ideal spot for that in this small mountain town. If you are choosing between here and Mica's, there is no choice;come here. I am not trying to be unkind to Micas but the personalized atmosphere provided by the owner and... More

This is a great place to hang out with your friends and sit back and sip. The owner, Dick Howard, makes you feel special every time you come in. They offer great tapas at a great price. Their sister restaurant, Table 64, is located 2 doors down and offers an incredible selection of tapas too. A must if visiting Cashiers.
