My husband and I stopped in for lunch on Good Friday. Given the wide range of vegetarian options, this seemed like a perfect choice. Everything was good but the tomato soup was outstanding! Service was a bit slow and the restaurant, though charming, is a bit cavernous. Overall, I think this is an excellent lunch option in Cashiers.

Extremely rude service. The waitress complained very loudly to another waitress about us asking if we could split a sandwich (which I didn't think was an unreasonable request at lunch time). Food was not that good, especially considering the price.

Fun loving atmosphere with great food! The food is fresh and you are going to be able to find food quality that can compete with much larger cities.

All items are made in house from local farms and gardens. It was a surprise. Open all year round, which is unusual, the food was authentic, the service staff helpful. Remember, this is in the middle of nowhere, so decompress from your normal life and enjoy it.

Had lunch at Café 107 in Cashiers today (11/27/12). Wish we had gone elsewhere! We were seated promptly, however, no one came to take our order until we asked to be served (I think they forgot us… but they were not that busy). For a total of $27.64 my wife had a cup of soup, small ice tea (never were... More

We happened upon this little cafe and it was a wonderful surprise! Don't miss the tomato basil soup! I would definitely go back if in the area!

We went for lunch recently. It was crowded. Service was pretty good, but food was a little above average and we felt, overpriced. For two it was $45 and we had soups and salads. I had vegetarian soup, with kale which frankly, did not have much flavor. Salad was pretty good but around $14 or $15. Soup was around $5 for... More

We arrived on a busy Friday evening. The entire seating area was full. Yes, it did take a while to get our drinks and the food was slow in coming, BUT they were doing the best they could. I am glad they had a full house. Food was good and plentiful. I would go back and encourage you not to... More

Food was very good. I especially liked the corn chowder soup which was a special of the day. The soup and half sandwich option was "just right" in terms of the portion size. My wife found the fluorescent lights and cheapo artwork (computer-generated photography) to be a bit tacky, but all in all a nice place for a good lunch.

We sat outside and had great lunches. Everything was very fresh and the service was excellent. They love dogs and we could bring them to our tables outside. Presented them with doggie treats and water. Too cute!
