While passing through Cashiers today, my wife and I decided to stop at the Farmers Market and do a little 'browsing'. Well, about $92 later, I can tell you that it was time and money well spent. This little jewel in the mountains was extremely well laid out, well stocked, and clean as a pin. There were the usual seasonal... More

Whether you're looking for gourmet treats, gifts to take back home, or some nice upscale provisions, this is it. They have great homestyle baked goods and very nice produce. Local products. A BBQ section that is VERY good (the guys had to go two days in a row to pick sandwiches, etc up). Nicely maintained, nice service...a good place to... More

If I were new in town, I'd check out the produce at the Ingles Supermarket first and then head to the crossroads and the farmers market. If you head there first, you will be tempted by all the goodies and unusual items they sell. Wonderful service.

The barbecue is terrific! So is the cloe slaw! It is primarily take out, but there is a place to picnic out side! The shop is a Cashiers landmark and not to be missed! I could go there every day for the fresh corn, tomatoes and goats cheese. Everything else is wonderful, too! The homeade baked goods are amazing! There... More

My husband and I stopped in at the CFM on Tuesday and shared the BBQ sandwich and side of Potato Salad. We had heard that the sandwich was large so we decided to share. Half of the BBQ sandwich was plenty for both of us. The only complaint I have is that some of the pieces of Q were as... More

My family went here to get takeout for dinner. Tender lean pork barbecue, suculent beef brisket, unlike many barbecue places not hot and spicy at all, which allowed us to add pepper sauce to each individuals taste. THE BEST BAKED BEANS I'VE EVER TASTED. Your choice of sauces for the meat. The store has a large selection of local fruits... More

This is a very good farmers' market with great produce, some baked goods and specialty items, local meats. But the real excitement takes place at the barbecue window. Honestly, I have NEVER had better barbecue pork. They'll make you up a to-go tray that you can sit under the tent and enjoy, or you can take home a rack of... More

This is where I go every year for fresh vegetables, fruit, cheese, pies and great wine. I can always find something my family will love!

We stopped for a quick lunch and to check out the market. After deciding on the Cuban, we weren't disappointed. It was so full of wonderful pulled pork that we could of shared a sandwich. The sauce was fantastic as well.
