If I had to choose where to have my last meal, it would be at Canyon Kitchen.

I had multiple friends tell me tales of how amazing this restaurant is, so I finally decided to head to Cashiers to see if they were true. They were, in fact, understatements. I promise you that you'll remember how you felt when you first arrived at Canyon Kitchen. It's overwhelmingly beautiful... read more

Our family was visiting from out of state and we wanted to take them someplace special and Canyon Kitchen at Lonesome Valley, Cashiers, North Carolina is definitely someplace special. The setting is spectacular. You are surrounded by gorgeous scenery, white granite faced cliffs, orchards full of apple trees, lush green meadows, herb gardens and wild flowers. The massive rustic dining... More

For many reasons I consider myself fortunate to spend my summers in western North Carolina. One of those reasons is the very special restaurant located in Lonsome / Sapphire Valley called Canyon Kitchen. Located in a box canyon , this exquisite setting immediately sets the mood. Ambience, attentive staff, creative cuisine , good wine and the evening is close to... More

We recently dined there with a party of eight. The four rookies who wanted to know why we had kept this secret from them. Even though it was a busy Friday night we were never rushed . Each of the three entrees of the evening was delicious and the setting before and after dinner could not have been surpassed .... More

Had dinner with a group of friends last week and it was average at best. Snack selection for the table was not very good. Brussels sprouts were hard as rocks, Caesar salad had little if any flavor, Salmon on a sorbet was just weird and the fourth one was unremarkably forgotten. Entrees were tuna which was very good and a... More

Didn't know a thing about it, made reservation, pulled up to find a beautiful farm style restaurant. (It's like a lesser "barn" at blackberry farm). I mention it feels a little like blackberry and was pleasantly surprised to hear the chef had been at blackberry for years! Food is simple creative farm to table. Not many choices but what we... The setting is breathtaking. The grounds are beautiful. The building is unique. The food is among the best we have ever had, anywhere. This is a very special place, and perfect for that special occasion, or for a great dinner, anytime.
