Among the best anywhere

The setting is breathtaking. The grounds are beautiful. The building is unique. The food is among the best we have ever had, anywhere. This is a very special place, and perfect for that special occasion, or for a great dinner, anytime.

Super dining, unbelievable food and service, top shelf. Beautiful landscape and scenery. Great place to live so close to everything Cashiers has to offer.

We have been to Canyon Kitchen on several occasions, and all of our 'experiences' have been great. I say that because the restaurant is open on two sides, with views of white cliff mountains, and pastoral gardens, which adds a lot to the evening. The menu is fairly 'set' with 2 to 3 choices for entrees and desserts, dictated by... More

The first thing you notice is the bald face rock on the mountain looming in the background. Then the vast field in the foreground with mature hardwoods dominating the landscape. Closeby are the gardens with various vegetables and herbs guaranteeing the freshness in your meal. The structure itself has a towering ceiling and the huge fireplace is roaring in the... More

At here back in July. From the service to the food to the view it can't be beat. All the food is freshly grown their. One of the best meals I have had in a long time. It's a bit pricey by well worth it.

We recently had our annual dining experience at Canyon Kitchen. It was a beautiful evening and, as others have said, the venue is spectacular! The open set up, the gardens and the outside bar make this a special place to dine. In the past, we have found the food to be only ordinary. This experience, we found the service to... More

Yes, it is pricey, but it is worth it! There was 4 of us dining. We started with cocktails on the patio out back with the wonderful view. Our table was on the perimeter of this open-air barn/lodge. We had wonderful service from the two ladies who took care of everything for us. Our meals were delicious! Would be willing... More

Breathtaking views and delicious farm to table food. Our night we had an entree choice of pork or chicken- might have liked a red choice but that is a small quibble. The wine pairings were lovely and experience a rare start to finish pleasure. Definitely will return

I was so excited to try this place on my vacation in Highlands. I looked forward to it for months. The place is beautiful and the scenery to die for.. The food was terrible... On the night we dined, the restaurant was serving "family style".. That meant you got three or four appetizers to share and a choice of either... More
