Very sweet atmosphere. Waitress was so helpful with directions and things to do in the area. Went the extra mile to make sure we had a map and then proceeded to mark the trails. Food was great and had gluten free choices.

We frequented Zookeeper for Breakfast as it was the only "sit down" BF restaurant that we found open during our stay. The Manager and Waitresses were friendly, attentive and a real delight. The BF offerings are reasonably priced, the coffee flows freely, and all the dishes were delicious. Highly recommend the banana pancakes with a good five mile hike afterwards!... More

Nice place, clean, good presentation. Service was good, staff friendly. Despite being past noon we craved breakfast, they accommodated us. Simple breakfast & lunch menu. Omelette's were hardy, varied side order selection. Food tasted good and was well presented although a little bland. This restaurant opens for breakfast and lunch and closes during Christmas for 5 weeks. Overall good experience.

Arrived right at cutoff time for breakfast but was told I could still get it if I liked. I liked. I had a basic breakfast that was exactly what I wanted. My best gal had a salad and sandwich, of course. Her food was just as good as mine. We started off with a crabcake while we looked over the... More

Nice atmosphere. Service a little slow but not objectionable. We had rueben and ham sandwiches with beef barley soup. All were very good. Fries were fresh cut which is another good feature. Reasonably priced. Definitely would come back.

Excellent spot for a good, "home cooked" breakfast that comes with some extra warm, friendly service. Food is prepared perfectly to order; the service staff is very attentive and professional. A bit hard to find as off the Cashiers Town Center on R 107 but well worth the short drive!

My husband and I both ordered the asain chop salad and our bill came to $25. The salad was warm with very little toppings, the chicken was a little rubbery and it was not at all a good salad. It also left a metallic aftertaste in my mouth. There was nothing special about the salad to make them worth $10... More

Driving through and did not feel like yet another overpriced, ill-thought and tourist-inspired meal. While this place lacks on decor and feel, the staff is attentive and inspired to please and serve dutifully. Had the soup du jour. Today was cream of mushroom. Found it chock full of 'shrooms and flavor. In fact bought the lat two servings to go.... More

My husband, our son and I stumbled upon zookeeper bistro looking for breakfast on a saturday morning. We were seated at an unusually small rectangle table and waited on by 3 different servers who were nice, but not overly warm. The entire experience was kind of strange; It is far from a comfortable restaurant and I wouldn't say we were... More

OK, I am sure I am not the first to say that I don't get why they call this place Zookeeper Bistro. Not an animal in site except for 3 moneys (see not evil, speak no evil, hear not evil), it fact the decor is faux italian distressed and quite smart. This place has potential. Our breakfast was darn good,... More
