Husband loved it!

We made reservations and were very excited to eat here. My husband is a hunter and loved the idea of having some venison or elk. He ordered the blackstrap and loved it. I had the fish and it was delicious. The broccoli I was burnt to a crisp, so that was disappointing. Although the food was good... read more

Visited for dinner a little on the early side - which we were informed of right off. I suppose not the done thing, dinner specials were not ready for another hour. We ordered quite happily off the menu, but then another disappointment - LOADED with SALT. The mushrooms were nearly inedible. However, did try elk and that was amazingly delicious.... More

We were a party of 8 - four couples, and asked from the first encounter with wait staff to have separate checks. The waitress referred us to a senior waitress who was firm with us saying that this was not possible. The Manager was then summoned who told us "you can split up into separate tables", "you can leave if... More

My wife and I ate dinner here and loved it. She had the Lamb Chops and they were cooked perfectly. I had the Shrimp & Grits , very good! The Bourbon Pecan Sundae was one of the best desserts I have ever had! Yummmmm! Alan was a very good waiter and took good care of us. We will definitely be... More

We enjoyed our meal. The elk was thick, unusual and tasty. My trout was the best ever. They even had bone marrow. The smores dessert was heavenly. Mary, our server, was nice and helpful.

I made reservations on Open Table from Florida and we were a party of 12. We are a family of 6, my sister has 4, and my parents are 2. We got seated at a table that should have been for 10, ordered our drinks (2 beers) and got cornbread and water. We started to place our order and said... More

We arrived apparently after the noon lunch crowd and had the restaurant to ourselves. The massive high-top table in a secluded area just for the eight of us was perfect! Friendly, efficient service and fabulous food. The Greek Nachos with Feta and Tzatziki were excellent. We are planning to go again for a game-lovers dinner.

Was told the place was full and had hardly no reservations left, when I arrived the place was empty, only a few tables. I guess they want to sound busier than they really are. Never a good sign when a restaurant is that empty. The staff was very unprofessional, unpleasant, and rude. I couldn’t believe how my table was being... More

First of all the food was good, very good. We went on the recommendation of some people my parents meet on a train ride, who said it was good and reasonably priced. Yeah, the price was, well very high for our tastes. If you have cash to spare this is the place for you, for the rest of us beware.
