I made reservations on Open Table from Florida and we were a party of 12. We are a family of 6, my sister has 4, and my parents are 2. We got seated at a table that should have been for 10, ordered our drinks (2 beers) and got cornbread and water. We started to place our order and said... More

We arrived apparently after the noon lunch crowd and had the restaurant to ourselves. The massive high-top table in a secluded area just for the eight of us was perfect! Friendly, efficient service and fabulous food. The Greek Nachos with Feta and Tzatziki were excellent. We are planning to go again for a game-lovers dinner.

Was told the place was full and had hardly no reservations left, when I arrived the place was empty, only a few tables. I guess they want to sound busier than they really are. Never a good sign when a restaurant is that empty. The staff was very unprofessional, unpleasant, and rude. I couldn’t believe how my table was being... More

First of all the food was good, very good. We went on the recommendation of some people my parents meet on a train ride, who said it was good and reasonably priced. Yeah, the price was, well very high for our tastes. If you have cash to spare this is the place for you, for the rest of us beware.

We straggled in during a rainstorm with 8 adults and 5 children and no reservations. But the hostess took a deep breath and gave us two adjoining tables where we were treated with complete courtesy and professionalism. The food was creative, original, complex, and interesting. Everyone loved it. My Cuban sandwich was one of the cheaper offerings, but my son... More

I've been there three times now. The last time we ate outside and enjoyed the cooler weather, music and the fireplace. What's nice is that the weather gets cooler even during summer and makes an after 7 pm reservation during summer rock. Dress is khakis and dress shirt or golf shirt for guys. Woman appropriate to the guys dress. service... More

We were in the area and had a few ideas of where we wanted to eat. We checked out menus of a few other places before seeing the great menu here. We had two salads and two entrees for dinner and everything was prepared presented and served perfectly. We got lucky and got a seat outside without a reservation. Staff... More

Lunch meeting on 6/9/15 tried their recommended Kobe in house corned beef Ruben & was very disappointed, beef was extremely dry & so was the entire sandwich :( The Caesar salad with shrimp was rated excellent. Still no true gluten free beer. Their rice beer that they recommended as gluten free was pretty bad! They seriously need to carry a... More

Our son recently got married in the Cashiers, NC area. I visited several places before deciding on Gamekeepers Tavern for the rehearsal dinner. Once I started working with Mat at Gamekeepers, I never second guessed my decision. He was wonderful to work with and very responsive to all my inquiries, making great suggestions along the way. The evening of the... More
