This place has been here for awhile, long ago it was the purple onion, the name is really the only thing that people keep going there. Really over rated.

Hope the new folks will live up to the long reputation. We loved to go there and have a Bloody Mary before our meal.

The only reason I hesitate to review this restaurant is because I want it to stay a hidden gem. Too late. Large outdoor "barn" seating. Great wait staff. Excellent southern with an urban upbeat twist menu

We visited here last weekend. Didn't really know much about this place coming in or what type of food they served either. Our Aunt recommended the place. The pork chop was one of the best meals I've had in a long long time. The premeal biscuits were excellent too. I honestly can't rate this place high enough. I'm still thinking... More

Visited Cashiers for the first time and had a good lunch at Cornucopia. We had a sandwich, coffee and desert. A very unique place which closes during winter season. Huge covered patio that is really like a large shed. We would eat there again. Lots of interesting sandwiches on the menu.

A local recommended Cornucopia for lunch when my husband and I were traveling in the Cashiers area the first week in November. The restaurant is large, open, well lit, and offers a good menu of salads, soups, sandwiches and light entrees. The service and food were good. We would return.

While touring through the higher mountain elevations of Western NC, we found ourselves in the tiny town of Cashiers, NC. There was a fall festival taking place and hundreds of people milling about. We were hungry and the Cornucopia Restaurant had been recommended to us. We found that the restaurant was overflowing with customers even though it was 2 PM.... More

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Cornucopia Restaurant in Cashiers, NC during the first week in November 2014. Most of the summer and fall crowds were gone and the restaurant was very quiet...thus very pleasant. The food was quite tasty and enjoyable for a leisurely lunch with friends. Would gladly return for another meal!!!
