Beautiful atmosphere.

My family and I stopped in for lunch today. I had the grilled chicken sandwich. Love love loved it. The chicken was not over cooked with great flavor. My husband had the beer battered fish sandwich he cleaned his plate, so I'm guessing he liked it. On the other hand my mother got the red rueben... read more

Tasty food at a reasonable price in a very neat mountain setting. The servers were attentive, wait not too long even though they were busy. Great choice of sitting outside, or under a roof but the whole place is very open air feeling.

The Cornucopia is an icon in Cashiers and even though it is under new management this year it appears to still have the same menu and fine food and atmosphere of the past. A new feature this year is the sporty and colorful shirts that the wait staff wears to add to the charm of this venue. The Cornucopia is... More

I h ave visited this restaurant many times over the years because it is somewhat of a destination restaurant. If you go to or through Cashiers, it is just sort of tradition to go to Cornucopia. This time was a disappointment. Don't get me wrong, the atmosphere is great and fun, but the food is sadly, average and overpriced. The lunch... More

Dinner at the Cornucopia was disappointing based on the entrees that we selected. The halibut was bland with flavorless and very dry rice and one small piece of cornbread. Price? $32. I would try other restaurants at least for dinner. We have had good lunches at this restaurant in the past. The chocolate pecan pie at $5 was the best... More

The restaurant is delightful and the service was excellent. We went there for lunch and I had the Caribbean Salad (DELICIOUS) and my husband ordered the special which was just three shrimp on top of a heart of Romaine. He said that the salad was very good, but not much for lunch. VERY EXPENSIVE Salad for $5 a shrimp. If... More

We were so happy to find this restaurant after a disappointing stay at High Hampton Inn in Cashiers. The service was friendly and efficient. I had the very best black bean burger I ever tasted and my husband loved his beef burger cooked precisely to order. Would be back in a heartbeat should we be in the area again.

This is one of the first restaurants to try in the mountains of Cashiers. A variety of food choices welcomes you at this delightful respite after a nice morning hike or fishing. It's casual and fun. Lots of dishes made from the local farmers market produce. Sit out on the patio to breathe in the fresh mountain air. Meet the... More

This review is for dinner. New owner, new chef and I will say the food is very good. My husband and I went with our daughter who was visiting and we all enjoyed our entrees. You do not get a salad, vegetable or bread. Our dishes all had a different form of risotto. It was quite expensive. Service was very... More

This is a local institution in the summer time. Great food and great service. What stands out is the fact that they have been here so long and providing great meals at a great place. The quaint village of Cashiers is nestled in the mountains of Western NC and has a great village vibe. This offbeat destination is worth the... More
