... all wrapped in a beautifully restful environment, tended by splendid staff, and crowned with magnificent food. This is our go-to place for our most special occasions. This survey doesn't capture it, but we've been for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, for just a cup of tea or for a romantic weekend (never disappointed). And their gift shop can't be... More

We celebrated our anniversary at Herons. This is an upscale restaurant It is very expensive ($90 pp for a three course dinner and an additional $30 for wine pairings) but we decided to splurge... The restaurant called ahead to confirm our reservations and to determine if we had any food allergies prior to dining. We arrived and were greeted by... More

Fine dining at its best! Dinner Menu had a 3,4 or 5 course offerings with wine pairings. Excellent wine selection by the glass, half or whole bottle. Food was amazing! My husband and I both chose the 4 course option. We dined on 1st Black truffle risotto and Quail, 2nd Herons Caesar and Roasted Beets, 3rd Scottish Salmon and Monkfish,... More

Herons is a restaurant that has it together. The service was very good; professional yes, but just casual enough to make it seem like they were genuinely thankful that we were there. Service never faltered throughout the 3-hour+ tasting menu meal. Food was sophisticated, somewhat experimental (just enough), interesting, and extremely good. It's possible to have a slightly better dining... More

I took my wife here for valentines day. The whole reservation process was harder than it should have been. It seemed I was being thrown around in the process and ended up making more than one reservation somehow in their confusion. It was reassuring that they called me a few days in advance to confirm they got it right. This... More

Sophisticated. Elegant. Executive wait staff. Artistic cuisine that is as delightful to the eye as it is to the palate. Dining taken to a different level. A wonderful place to go for that "special occasion". It is expensive but most definitely worth it. We will be back!

This is a dining experience. I'm talking full on multiple servers, choice between three and four courses. They do have a vegetarian option, which is nice, but only one. The menu is seasonal, so it changes depending on the produce for the time of year. We went late fall - heavy on greens, pumpkins, that sort of thing. Bartenders were... More
