Ownership change...again

It didn't surprise me to hear the ownership had changed again, within the last month. They really need to get their new menu online. The prices from the old menu are scary and had caused us to stop going there. We only go when there is a band we like, so we usually eat something light. Food... read more

Had some of the best steamed oysters we have ever had & the hush puppies were very tasty. Our friends had shrimp & grits and jambalaya which was very well spiced and plentiful. Barkeep was personable & efficient. Wait staff was just as good. We went at 5:30 and the resturant was nearly empty.

Tony's used to be a top notch place until it changed owners. The seafood is still good, but service is not at the same level. The restaurant is also starting to show age for lack of upkeep.

Our service was great but there were only three or four tables filled. My romaine lettuce wedge was awesome but added six dollars to my bill. We all had crab cakes which have no filling and were wonderful. One person had crab legs and thought they tasted good. Tables are far apart... It's at the back of the mall its... More

I was hoping the new ownership would add a bit of class to a place that had spiraled downhill over the last few years. They have failed. The "new" Tony's does NOT IMPRESSED ... we will not be going back to Tony's. The food was very low quality ( ,,,, a small step up from microwave and expensive), beer was... More

I have gone to Tony's off and on for the last six years and have seen it's sad decline. I was hopeful with the new owners that the decline would stop. Unfortunately, the overpriced food and drinks are probably going to be the demise of Tony's once and for all. We went on a Saturday night, mainly to see the... More

We were here tonight for the first time since it changed owners. It used to be our favorite place. Not anymore. The menu is much more limited and they took their best items off. The waitstaff started off friendly but towards the end, we were having to flag them over to get refills. Unlike the friendly manager of the old... More

Tony's Oyster Bar and Grill (New Name) was once an average seafood restaurant; however, it has changed and NOT for the better earning it a POOR rating. The menu has changed considerably to one much more limited with no offerings of fresh oysters, shrimp or other "oyster bar" staples. The limited appetizers are over priced. The thai spicy shrimp, though... More

Tony's was once a very nice establishment; however, my most recent experience on Fathers Day 2014 revealed this restaurant is mediocre at best. The hostess was extremely unprofessional and the restroom was disgusting. The restaurant did not have oysters , hush puppies , or fries available for order which blew my mind. An oyster bar with no oysters. Our server... More

I called to make a reservation earlier in the week and got an answering machine. I left a message requesting a reservation for Father's Day and never received a call back. When we arrived at the restaurant they "couldn't find" our reservation but seated us anyway. It was 5pm on a Sunday and the place was DEAD. I heard the... More
