Great burgers

Few do burgers as well. About my ratings: In an effort to compare apples to apples, my ratings are strictly for establishments within thirty minutes travel of each-other. Typical chicken takeout. Some people go absolutely crazy for this place - I think it's OK. Nothing wrong with it when you're in the mood. Shakes are good.

Not real impressed. They don't have a list of ingredients anywhere. Stood in line for 20 min with only one person in front of me. Drive through is faster. My order took more than ten min. Messed up the order too. Burgers were ok. Milkshakes were nothing special. They were good but not as good as other place. I'm not... More

Our college student wanted us to try the Cook Out's platters, it was good-your typical college fair food. The shakes are amazing. Prices are great for a students budget.

Went there for only a milk shake and we never regretted it. It was absolutely fabulous and the variety was huge.

The BEST Shakes in all different flavors. The shakes include fruit if you like. I Loved the Banana Pineapple Shake. Also Chocolate & Cherry. Also Banana Fudge. The lines are long but worth the wait. Walk Up is faster than drive thru. Workers are excellent and patient with me trying to pick out a flavor. So many choices so made... More

It was a rainy day and the lines were long and slow. The wait was worth it, though, and we enjoyed our chicken sandwich and strips for lunch. Would return, but not if lines are long.

My husband and I recently moved to North Carolina from Cincinnati. We didn't have this luxury as a choice for food in the Midwest. When we moved in, Cookout was super close and something "new". We were not disappointed, the food was delicious! The only place I know of that you can get a sandwich and your sides as chicken... More

This is a drive-in. You drive your car to the window, place your order, and drive ahead to pick it up. There was a line of cars at the drive-in when I was there, even though it was a bit late for lunch. I can understand why. What a juicy hamburger! (I had "steak style.") What a thick shake. (I...
