My husband and I ate for the first time at Havana Grill this weekend. In a nut shell, the food is WAY overpriced! The plantains were ok, not bad, but kind of cold when we got them. The black beans and rice as well as the fries were decent...ever thing else was terrible. My husband's pork was so hard, he... More

We went here for the first time a few weeks ago and I was very excited to see Paella on the line. It was good, but I've had better. The plantains were the best I've had! I have to agree with others reviewing this on several things; 1- I also smelled a foul odor upon entering. It actually smelled like sewage.... More

We walked in, there was a funky smell when we got inside, it wasn't a food smell. It was a gorgeous day so we wanted to sit on the patio. There were a bunch of tables set up with women selling their products. I didn't really like them doing their business while we were trying to enjoy lunch. It was... More

We've ate here 3 times. Each time I enjoy my order of Plantains & Fried Yucca Plant. Lots to eat, be careful "how" you order... One person taking my order, didn't listen, I even repeated myself. I ended up with a " meal with 2 sides " ( that I didn't want ) and my order of just Fried Yucca... More

My wife and I were driving around looking for a place to eat and we stumbled upon this joint. Cuban? Great! We loved our experiences in Cuban joints down in Ybor City, so we stopped in. We found the place to be unassuming, but I love such eateries as they normally make up for the shortcomings in appearance by having... More

I tried Cuban Food a few months ago while in Miami and fell in love with it and I brought a Groupon for this restaurant hoping that I could enjoy good Cuban food right here at home. Boy was a DISAPPOINTED. The food is served cafeteria style, but you can order from a menu. I ordered Camarones al Ajillo /... More

I bought a groupon for this restaurant because I've lived in Miami for 4 years and was missing good cuban food and everything sounded good on the menu. When you see the overall ratings of this place it seems fine, that's why I bought the coupon. I went on a Saturday night with my husband and the parking lot was... More

Was looking forward to have found an authentic Cuban resto in town but was disappointed when the food we got was somewhat spoiled. Had to return my plate as the rice was really starting to smell. On the upside, it really is authentic Cuban taste.

Decided to try Havana Grill after seeing it on Groupon. I really enjoy Cuban food, but had to talk my partner into driving from Chapel Hill to Cary for dinner. I invited my favorite graduate student to bring a friend so there would be much socializing regardless of the meal. We were quite surprised to realize that it was set... More

My family enjoyed our meal at the Havana Grill. The menu is long and a bit hard to weed through for folks who are new to Cuban cuisine. We shared two tamales as appetizers, four entrees and two deserts. The best options were roasted pork, the rice with beans and flan for desert. Our experienced could have been improved if... More
