Excellent and authentic with many vegetarian options

We were surprised to find such an authentic Chinese restaurant in the triangle. The spices used are relatively simple as they are in China. The environment is simple and tasteful with many round tables for large group such as the many Chinese families we saw eating here. We had a large soupy affair for four people chock full of soft... My favorite Chinese restaurant in Cary. it's cheap and delicious. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, they open 11:00-3:00 for lunch, and 16:30-21:30 for dinner. on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, they open all day from 11:00-21:30. They close on Monday. They available for pick up. They don't deliver. They don't do buffet. They just do menu order only. The price is about $10-$20... More

This is a very good Chinese restaurant, with two menus, good service, in the center of Cary. We've been here often, and enjoyed it every time. Good for families or small groups, too.

Went here on a Saturday lunch. The decor is kind of run down. A table near the door had lots of garlic being peeled. That should not be there in the middle of lunch time. We sat down and no one came for drinks for a while. We ordered Xiao Lin bao which is bad. It seems like it's the... More

I come to this restaurant many times and initially had been turned off my location and look of the restaurant from the outside, but I was very wrong. The food is delicious. The ingredients, the cook temperatures, and the result of the products is outstanding. Pickled fish and the lamb dishes are among my favorites. Very authentic Chinese food.

If you're expecting PFChang style food here, you will want to move on. If you think every meal has to be washed down with alcohol, you will want to move on. If your idea of fine dining is a steak and a baked potato, yes, move on. This place serves authentic Chinese food and it is not for everyone. If... More

This is a gem in the heart of Cary,NC. The place is not as fancy as PF.. but the food is excellent. I am not chinese but I enjoy the food here with other real Mandarin/Cantonese speaking Chinese people. If they are enjoying the food and keep coming back here, then it must be authentic. The staff is friendly, sevice... More

The food is authentic and abundant. Too often Chinese restaurants tend to have heavy sauces, but this restaurant serves food fresh and authentic.

Reading the reviews I was expecting something special. The reality was quite different. It's a scruffy strip mall store next to a grocery store and a gas station. I overlooked that as the majority of Cary is the same. Two well-worn plastic tumblers arrived on the table with water, because they do not have an alcohol license, then a plastic... More

There are two menus, one for people who read Chinese - although it has English, too - and one for those who do not, although it has Chinese, too. Go figure. The Chinese menu has a few items that would not generally appeal to western tastes and they are just protecting you, so it's okay. The food is wonderful, very... More
