Get ready for a treat! This is the perfect place for a nice meal out in Cary! Everything we tried was amazing and the service was top notch. I would recommend the seaweed salad and SAS roll. You'll probably need a reservation. Enjoy!

An is part of The Umstead Family in North Carolina, and my husband and I thought it took first place. We found the food really good and the service excellent. My husband had a butter squash soup with ginger that was a perfect combination of vegetable and oriental seasoning -- delicious, flavorful and simple. I had duck that was cooked... More

This is one of the best restaurants in the Triangle. Ingredients are always the highest quality. Preparation always expert. Definitely the best and highest quality sushi around. We tend to go here mostly for lunch since dinner is pricey and the last time my companions weren't completely thrilled with their entrees although mine have always been perfection. Dress and ambiance... More

I would give the restaurant 5 stars except the sushi roll (spider roll) was not exceptional. It was no better than less expensive restaurants in town. That and that the Smoked Beef Tataki (and we upgraded to Kobe for $5 extra) was ridiculously tiny. Oh, and that they pretentiously label their menu as "chapters." But I digress, because the rest... Our first visit here was extra special since it was our anniversary - this is not really an atmosphere for romance as the tables are all out in the open, but the food is spectacular and innovative. Went this time during business hours and most diners were business people at lunch. The food was amazing and the service superb. Anytime... More

Since I went here with a business invitation, I was not aware of the prices. Therefore I cannot comment on the value side. I loved my sushi appetizers and our table of 5 shared a mezze like selection of warm and cold starters. What a beautiful presentation! The Main course was my culinary epiphany-sea bass. The best in a very... More

The food was great, very haute, but they are a bit over-the-top with their service. Dinner with tip was $85, so it's pricey, but I certainly would go back the next time I am in Cary.

I don't find myself over in Cary often, but when I do there is no better place to eat then An. Fabulous cocktails from the bar, great service and really some of the best sushi I have ever had. All the fish is super fresh, the rolls well balanced and the presentation awesome. Truly a great experience across the board.

The setting in An is exquisite. Even the detailing in the Men's room is top-notch LOL. Loved the sushi, very fresh. Their attention to detail is quite good. Service is outstanding. A little on the expensive side - great for that special occasion outing. Menu might be a little too out-there for young kids.

I recently ate at An and the food was great. I had the sashimi and it was excellent. The real surprise was the bar. The bartender was a real mixologist. He did great things with bourbon and tequila. I will go anytime.
