Fun place for a group

A large family group gathered here the day after my son's wedding. We had excellent service and quite a variety of food items. We sat outside and had a great time.

The atmosphere is like a beer garden. Nice with plenty of outdoor seating. Than the charm ends there. The whole place, the hostess(she would not seat you or talk to you until you walked up to her pulpit) the waiter(who forgets the water you ordered, brings them after 20 minutes) to the kitchen(it took more than 1 hour to prepare... Exactly what I expected when we ventured in. Pretentious and Carrboro don't go together. So if you're expecting some kind of back breaking foodie experience you should go elsewhere. This place is for relaxing and enjoying good food and drinks with your friends and family. We came in on a Sunday. I had loaded tater tots and a finely crafted... More

The people are nice and the food is OK, but the kitchen needs help. We were a large group of eleven people, but we had made a reservation. It seems when we arrived they didn't expect us, but we were seated fairly quickly. Our orders were taken in a timely manner, but then the problems started. Meals came out two... More

Stopped in to the rail in the evening on a saturday. the outside portion and the larger room was filling up pretty quickly but we got a table by the bar and by the fake fireplace. SCORE! bartend was friendly and funny, and provided us with great service. definitely a spot to check out if you're ever in carrboro

My colleague and I ate here on a warm evening, so we chose to sit outside. The vibe of the restaurant and outdoor patios is eclectic, quirky vintage railroad style, and it was very pleasant. No trains went past as we sat there, but I did hear them come through earlier in the day. We both ordered the buttermilk fried... More

Sit outside and enjoy the central part of town. We only drank and there were 5 beers on tap. Plenty of parking. Train decor inside and out is pretty cool.

Yesterday was such a beautifully mild day, that it was just right for dining al fresco. A number of other people felt the same way. We chose Southern pork sandwiches, and had one of the best ones we have ever had. We each had a beer with them, and kept marveling at the wonderful weather here in the south--back home... More

Lots of choices but average food, lots of room indoor and outdoor. Service slow, some overpriced items on menu, drinks overpriced. Lots of college students. Nice atmosphere.

This restaurant is in an old rail car with lots of outdoor seating and extensive patio areas. Food is all made from local ingredients and made to order. Good beer selection. Good menu selection especially for vegetarians. Great service. The place has a cool vibe and nice laid back atmosphere. Will definitely return.
