Wish I'd read some of the reviews here first. Food was pretty mediocre, place didn't feel especially clean, and the service was just okay. For example, when we asked if the "crisps" were actually supposed to be crisp (as opposed to soggy, which they were), the waiter said yes. Instead of taking something off the bill (which we would have... More

We sat for 30 minutes before ever being approached to order drinks. Once we ordered them they didn't come for another 30 minutes and they were all in bottles (so it shouldnt have taken that long at all). We ordered upon receiving our drinks and proceeded to wait an hour and 15 minutes to receive our food. During the wait... More

The beer selection at Milltown is extensive and good. I've eaten there a few times and the food has always been tasty. The fries are fantastic, as are the wings, and evening specials. The veggies sliders are really unique and tasty, too! I've always had friendly waitstaff. The drawbacks - it can take a while to get served at the... More

Dont go hungry! I joined friends for food and drinks at Milltown last night. They have an impressive beer list with lots of variety and a huge selection of imports. But the dinner was less impressive. I went for a safe cheese burger and fries. Well the burger came cheeseless and later than anyone else at my table so I... More

If I were just writing this review about the food, I would say it was great. I highly recommend the Quebec Poutine frites! but... 1. there were cockroaches on the wall and table 2. the waitress did not smile, introduce herself, or come to our table other than to take our order and drop off the check 3. when I... Lots of specialty beers on tap. Great vegetarian options. Try the curry frittes (addictive!) and the black bean sliders (add avocado!)

Arrived early on a lovely evening and was disappointed that we were to be confined to a picnic bench if we wanted to sit outside. The management is totally inflexible on this. I am shocked with the total inhospitable attitude of the management. The food is not good enough to suffer this bad treatment.

I have spent many fun evenings at Milltown - good food, great beer selection... But, on my last visit with some friends, we were pretty bummed out. It was after 9pm, no seats at the bar (we were a party of 4), so we asked if we could just sit at a table. They said NO!!! The tables are saved... More

I went here just last night with a buddy from work. The food was good, not great, and service pretty standard for a bar. The beer menu was very good, with a reasonably expansive list of domestic and international brews. The only real downside to this smaller place is the parking, which is a gravel lot one building over, with... More
