While visiting Carrboro, I popped into Weaver Street Market and bought a few little items that I can't get easily at home. It was a very lively co-op and people were friendly. Next time, I plan to grab a meal.

This market is way better than Whole Foods, with excellent quality provisions and a pleasant atmosphere. There is a delightful outdoor dining area where customers can dine on whatever they bought inside. What's really great, though, is that it is a coop. I think it could be a model for coops everywhere.

I think Weaver Street is right up there with Paris cafés and California patio dining. It's lovely to get food at their hot bar or salad bar and eat outside. Also is the place I do almost all my grocery shopping as they have great produce and prepared foods and the bakery is tops. Also have live music twice a... More

It is much better since it was enlarged. Pre made very good. The only down part is the prices are expensive.

I am not as enamored of the Weaver Street Cafe as other folks, I do not find the food to be that flavorful. I have only eaten here once but was disappointed and have yet to return. My son loves this place and lives in Hillsborough, I found it expensive and not worth it.

Great self serve buffet of fresh healthy greens, veggies and meats. Eat it there, or take it home. Also packaged items (groceries). Healthy choices, organic, free range. Loved the self serve bar. Eat in or bistro tables outside.

Once you have had the privilege of eating really good bread, it is hard to enjoy anything else. The ideal meal at the Weav (or anywhere else for that matter) is a loaf of bread, some lovely cheese and a nice glass of...wine for me (craft beer for you?) You can enjoy this while sitting outside, people watching...in the Paris... More

We LOVE going to Weaver street market in warm weather and grabbing a bottle of wine and dessert and playing a game at the picnic table outside. It's so much more than a market or grocery store. The hot food is delicious, baked goods are wonderful and the people are even better. Plan to spend some time enjoying the outdoors... More

The first time I saw all the people sitting out on the lawn on Sunday morning with a small musical group playing, a couple of naked babies walking around and hippy dressed moms dancing I felt I was back in Berkeley and heaved a sigh of relief. Food is excellent with a great choice and an overall ambiance not available... More
