Sat outside on a nice warm Fall day. Very good soup and an excellent pastrami platter. Staff brought the food out and were very friendly and helpful.

Everything was delicious. The fresh ingredients in the homemade soup stands out. My son had the hot dogs on bretzel and I was surprised how delicious the hot dogs even were. Definitely a great place to eat with fresh ingredients. Service was great too.

Good for breakfast and amazing for lunch. Small, busy, crowded, a tad pricey, and more than worth all that and more. Matt Neal's family brought fine dining to Chapel Hill, and he has added a wonderful deli to to the family tradition. Fresh food cooked to order.

We didn't get there in time for breakfast, which came highly recommended, but had the hot dogs, which were really good, and served on "brezels" (my husband got mustard, I got kraut). The potato salad was good, but I was full before I got to it. I tried one of the Boylan's sodas (root beer), thinking that they must be... More

Neal's is a cute local deli. It has a menu that will please everyone. It's very small with limited indoor and outdoor seating. There is a free parking lot just a half block over. Neal's hours can be limiting. The food is great and there are some unique items on the menu.

Everyone in our party was happy with their breakfast sandwich: eggs, cheese and your choice of meat on an oversized homemade biscuit. WOW. Get your coffee next door from Eye Open Cafe, grab a table outside, and enjoy.

I had been to Neal's several years before, so I knew it was worth the diversion off our trip down I-40. Several notches above the average lunch place. My Chileano Completo was deliciously messy. You say you don't want to eat a hot dog? You think one with sauerkraut, hot sauce, mayonnaise, and guacamole sounds like an abomination? If so,... More

Fabulous sandwiches and sides. Try the Manhattan, my favorite--or the pimento cheese or the chicken salad. The only sandwich I thought fell a bit short was the muffuletta but I only had it one time and that might have been an aberration. I eat here regularly--or rather I "carry out" regularly. It is tiny. But it is an "absolutely don't... More

The food is really good, especially the excellent pastrami. Extremely casual atmosphere with a few tables inside and outside and some stools inside. Good lunch place.
