It had been many years since we visited Michael s Seafood restaurant, and we were pleasantly surprised on the service and quality of food. After reading other reviews, many others said to be sure to order the chowder. Your server will also tell you they are internationally known for their seafood chowder. It was very meaty (stuffed with seafood) and... More

Had one of the best rib eye ever. You can cut it with a fork. Prices are a little high. We paid 19.00 for it, but it was delicious. Server was great. I didn't like the veggie that came with so l was offerd something else. Make sure this is one place you go.

All you can eat crab legs during fall months on Tuesday nights. Yum! Great staff with legacy of giving back to the community as well. Don't forget to check out the aquariums and the beautiful surfboard on display by the front door.

No fried food here... I was going to get fried Shrimp... I instead had the broiled shrimp, and felt so much better the next day than I do when I eat fried shrimp. The restaurant was chilly- glad I had taken a sweater. The Pina Colada was very good :) The potatoes were good, the corn was fair. Just so-so.... More

Good Food and Good times. Casual place with really good food. Price point is good with a fun bar. If you are looking for a upscale place this would not be the place but worth going just for the food no matter what.

We (party of 8) had reservations somewhere else, but decided to go here due to the recent good reviews. Wasn't our night, as we can't say the same after our experience. Restaurant not full, no lines, seated promptly, but had to wait for server once seated. As she was taking our drink order, couldn't make up my mind so nudged... More

It was one of the best meals we've ever had. Our waiter was knowledgeable and super attentive. The decor was tasteful, not with all the plastic, cheesy crabs and fish. Our last dinner before going home. Thank you for making it so special!

The chowder was the best that I had in Cape Fear area. The catch of the day was Swordfish, and it was huge! Prepared blackened, it was super spicy. My wife had the Ribeye, which she said was excellent. Prices are more than fair. Highly recommend. Same ownership of Big Apple bakery a few doors down, great place for breakfast... More

If you love seafood chowder, then you need to make this a must visit on your schedule! This is some of the best seafood chowder in the Cape Fear Region, and I've tried many of chowder in the region. (I'm a local...) The chowder is milk based and full of hearty chunks of seafood.
