We had the shrimp and crab legs steam pot. We each got a half lb. of shrimp and half lb of crab legs. It came with corn on the cob, roasted potatoes and coleslaw. Everything was delicious! The prices were very reasonable.....only $18 each! Highly recommend...don't forget to ask for the cornbread! We never got any and as we were... More

After a fantastic meal at the Shuckin' Shack the previous night, we wanted seafood but not in a bar atmosphere. My friend had grown up in the area and had heard good things about Michael's. Plus I had read Michael, the chef/owner, had recently passed away and we wanted to support the restaurant. So we went and were turned off... More

Service is awful. Most food is dry. If you want to go eat a ton of crab legs, I reccomend. That is all we end up eating, bit it was enjoyable to fill two buckets of empty crab shells!

This place is amazing if you want fresh non fried seafood. We ordered the admirals delight and it truly was a delight. The prices are good and the good is even better. You definitely get your money's worth here. This will be a place that we visit everytime we are in the area.

I went to Michaels on 8/7 2014. I had alfredo parmesan penne with scallops. The penne was terrible not al dente--raw-- it tasted like waterery flour gobs in my mouth, Two of my scallops were also raw and the sauce very bland. My husband did enjoy his scampi, he was kind enough to share. Our waitress seemed to just forget... More

Busy atmosphere; clean; good food. Definitely one of the nicer family restaurants in the area. The clam chowder was delicious; bay seasoned boiled shrimp was good. Line out the door for seating. Would go here again.

I had Michael's "famous" award-winning clam chowder as an appetizer, and it definitely won my award. I had to buy two quarts to take home to share with my hubby. I also had the pan-seared scallops, which were awesome. Mom had the Mediterranean Salmon with a balsamic reduction, and was very pleased with her choice. We would definitely go back... More

I'm leery of those "buffet" seafood places. They tend to be "push and shove" for the good pieces of food. So we wanted a nice "sit down" seafood restaurant. Michael's is a good place. We started with the famous "Captain M's Seafood Chowder" and it was delicious. I'm not sure how you can get any more butter and cream into... More

I wanted to give this place an excellent rating but just couldn't do to the amount of pepper my daughter and I had on our steak and scallops. Food, atmosphere, waitress, iced tea were all great except for the pepper. If I were the owner I'd teach my cooks how to properly season food or find out who's trying to... More

Chowder was excellent. We had crab legs, shrimp and tea. Bill was over $60 and we didn't feel this was such a great value. The shrimp was the type you'd get at a Japanese steak house, not the appetizer kind. They were just ok. Crab legs were good; however, the mashed potatoes were cold and terrible. It was just average... More
