My wife and I found Squigley's on a trip to Carolina Beach in 1998 and finally were able to get back there this year with our children. It's a small throwback ice cream shop tucked on a corner lot and easy to miss, butt well worth the trip in. They're known for their Squigle, a soft serve ice cream made... More

Very good ice cream in fresh made waffle cones but to experience the true purpose of the business, you must get squiggled. A little pricey at $11.00 for two cones, but it's the beach, so go for it. Many combinations available to blend in the vanilla ice cream... fruits, nuts, can bars, cookies, etc. Give it a try, you won't... More

This place has good ice cream and they make their waffle cones on site. The single scoop was still very big.

We stopped here with out-of-town visitors. The ice cream was very good, not spectacular, but good. We had to wait a while for our treats but that was OK as our group was large. Very pleasant staff. Do be aware that they are a CASH ONLY business. The seating area is very small and gets very crowded. But all in... More

Came here based on recommendations...walked in and no line. The girl behind the counter was very dry and abrupt while explaining how it worked. Ordered 3 thin mint squigglys (small) and one more squiggly with 2 mix ins. Total came to $23. We were in shock. Squigglys were definitely good, not anything amazing or to die for. Portion sizes were... More

After driving by numerous times we finally made our way into Squigley's and everyone was happy we did. We must have hit it at the right time (BEFORE dinner) as we has no wait. The young ladies at the counter were friendly and helpful which was great as it was our first visit. Numerous types of ice cream choices and... More

Young staff here so along with it, there's a bit of attitude, aloofness, and apathy (you get the alliteration for free from me). That's fine, ok. I was young once and I used to be that way, so I get it. Strike two; however, is the fact that it's a cash-only business. For some reason, several businesses in this area... More

This place has a long line most of the time so we were expecting something really outstanding. I think they have somewhere around 12 flavors of ice cream and then a list of A LOT of items you can add to the ice cream to make a "squigley". In my opinion it was just like going to a Dairy Queen... More

Yes, three. Only complaint is the overwhelming number of options! My favorite; Baklava and NY Cheesecake. The "Squigley girls" are so hardworking and pleasant too!
