Fun atmosphere, get a taste of old Carolina Beach on the boardwalk, food and drinks southern, fun and just perfect after a day at the beach!

Do not eat at Olde Salty’s if you are a person with disabilities, “different in appearance” or under the age of 18. I have been a Wilmington resident for 10 years and have not visited Carolina Beach often but the allure of the beautiful walls to take our family photographs and the promise of delicious Britt’s donuts drew my family... A casual, local bar and restaurant with good food. Snow Crab legs were awesome and the coconut shrimp were good as well.

Friendly staff awful food. Fish is all previously frozen and mostly all fried. Don't ask to substitute a baked potato for fries "I can't do that, the kitchen would not be happy." Stay away if you really appreciate quality seafood.

My family loves steamed crab legs and low-country boiled seafood. After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor, we decided to walk down the boardwalk and eat at Olde Salty's (which was less than 1/2 mile from our condo). We arrived in the late afternoon and for the first few minutes we were the only customers in the restaurant. It is a... More

Good fresh seafood. Enjoyable dinner. Even though at the oceanfront no view of the ocean. Price moderate. Service ok.

We visited this restaurant since it was close to our hotel. The most appreciated meal was the kids grilled cheese sandwich. My tuna steak was room temperature. The fries were probably Ore-Ida, and not many of them. Service was good, but the food didn't match. Not worth a return visit.

We took a chance and visited this local restaurant while on vacation. We were the only two people in the place. That's really too bad because the food and service were fantastic. We ordered the homemade onion rings and out came an entire plate full. Yummy! Then had the crab legs that were sweet and plentiful. Next time we come... More
