Had the pail of shrimp, crab, oysters and corn fresh and good. We also had the large order of wings very good. Service was friendly and good a place I will return to the next time in town.

Once I found this place, I visit it every time I am in the area. A lot of locals frequent this place an there is ALWAYS people there. It is a small place and can get busy (and loud) at times. The same bartender seems to be there every time I go. She is very friendly and service is great.... More

We were a group of 8 and due to the graciouness of a couple at the bar who moved several times, were were all able to be seated together. I would not recommend going with a group unless you are willing to be seated separately. We just lucked out. Great beer selection and everything we ordered was delicious.....clams, crab legs,... Don't bother with the menu. Just get a pound of Old Bay peel and eat shrimp and a cold beer. You'll thank me later!

This place is a hole in the wall. It's a tiny bar with very few tables. The menu is small and limited but what they do serve is incredible. My husband and I shared a dozen steamed oysters, a dozen steamed clams and a pound of old bay steamed shrimp. I want more! Simple but fresh and delicious.

We were told that Shuckin Shack is where the locals go for seafood, and that was absolutely the case. Friendly locals stopping by for a drink or dinner, watching sports all the while. We shared a pound of steamed Atlantic shrimp (none of the farm raised lesser quality) and a pound of crab legs, both were perfectly steamed and tasty.... More

Went with a local who knew most of the people at the bar. The drinks were good, the food excellent, and the folks there were very cool. If in Carolina Beach, stop in.

I love the different type of oysters you can eat, also the peel and eat shrimp, by the 1/2 pound or pound. Love the lobster roll as well. Love to eat here!

The reviews are great on Shuckin Shack and we had to give it a try. Based on our experience they are right on.... I had their shrimp and wing combo. The shrimp was some of the best I've ever had. Add some cold beer and fantastic service and its a real winner.
