Oh man, we went for lunch and I tried the lobster roll. Amazingly tasty lobster salad in a buttered white bread roll. To die for!

Do you want great steamed seafood? Do you enjoy a hole-in-the-wall and local atmosphere? If you said, "yes," then, Shuckin Shack is for you. Shuckin Shack has two locations in the Wilmington area and is going to open in Charlotte soon. It's expanding because it is good. I hope the expansion doesn't change the quality of the food, which happens... More

I really wanted to eat oysters and the guy at the local fish place recommended this place. I took my whole family and the place was a little tight to hold all 8 of us. The menus were on the back of cardboard beer boxes, but the food was really good. The crab legs were sweet and the oysters were... More

We stopped in to watch USA play in the World Cup and it turns out they had a special on crab legs so we decided to give then a try. Let me just tell you....THEY WERE AMAZING. They were cooked to perfection. Best I've ever had from anywhere. Since we were there for an extended period of time, we also... More

Sometimes a plan just comes together...in spite of last minute obstacles. Made reservations to stay in CB from July 3-6...to celebrate our anniversary on the 4th. Just a couple of days before the 3rd, Hurricane Arthur forms & heads towards the Carolina Coast. We are just a couple of hours away from CB, so we head on down, get settled... More

We stopped in for lunch during "hurricane Arthur". We were the first ones in around 11:30 but it was full by the time we left. We had the wings, shrimp, fish and chips and raw oysters. Loved it all, especially the shrimp and wings. We were disappointed they were out of hushpuppies and fried pickles. Also had a great Bloody... More

Had my doubts when we got there - the menu online is for the Wilmington restaurant, bot this one. The menu here is very limited, but - it worked! My favorite memory? The bloody mary with steamed clams...o yeah! We came in around 2:00 p.m. The waitress - there was only one - was perfect. Great attitude while very busy.... More

A cute and friendly place. We felt it was a little over priced. The space was very tight and a bit uncomfortable. Nice for a couple but difficult for larger groups. The crab legs were delicious.
