Had lunch and enjoyed it very much. My burger was delicious and my husband Reubens was tasty. We had to try the mac and cheese balls and we loved them. The woman who served us anticipated all our needs before we knew we needed them. The drinks were generous and the staff friendly. I noticed that the locals were coming... More

We are year round visitors to Carolina beach and have frequented the pub. It typically has good food and decent service. However, this summer we were not greeted with a warm welcome. The girl in charge that night was not willing to accommodate a party of six. She insisted we wait for the only large table in the restaurant, while... More

We go to Hoplite about twice a month. They always have drink specials. The food is exceptional. They have awesome meatloaf. The burgers are yummy and the mashed potatoes. My mouth waters thinking about it. And we've always had excellent service. I'd say they have the best tasting food in Carolina Beach and ive been to almost all the restaurants... More

The food was delicious! We had the fried macaroni and cheese balls and they were so yummy! My husband had the corned beef and it was great too! They had a nice beer selection. Best of all they were pet friendly!

Recently had dinner at Hoplite and the food was outstanding as well as the service. Our meal arrived in a timely manner and was proper temperature. The waitress was very attentive and the everyone there seemed to be having the same type service. I regularly travel to Carolina Beach and this will be on my schedule to visit as well!

The credit card machine was down when I went, so that was a little disappointing. It's a fish and chip place. It was okay and cheap, so why not?

Usually hit this place on the way into town on Thursday nights. Chaz & his crew are friendly, the menu is perfect for bar patrons. The fish & chips are tasty and enough for two people but my favorite is their Shepard's Pie perpared w/ tons of ground lamb..yum! Always have drink specials and sometimes entertainment....very cool place to kick... More

Much better then it looks from outside. Good service and great food along with reasonable prices. Excellent lunch menu selection and good sports bar atmosphere. Friendly staff. We look forward to returning. The homemade chips were a delight and the iced tea was a definite southern treat. Limited parking but worth a stop.

Came down for St. Patricks day weekend so of course we went to the only Irish Pub in town. We have been here several times in the past and have always enjoyed ourselves. The macaroni balls are a must, with jalapeños too. The have great selection of Irish pub food. Bangers n mash are great too. Smithwicks Irish Ale on... More
