Delicious!

The food is delicious. We ate here twice for dinner while vacationing in Carolina Beach. It's refreshing to have a farm to table option. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is amazing! I highly recommend it!

Almost great... A) we arrived a few minutes before the time of our reservations, only to wait 25 minutes for a table. Why bother!? B) The featured seafood entree was great--the second time around. The first serving arrived stone cold. Sent it back; a few minutes later a new entree arrived: warm (as should be expected) and very tasty. But... More

Our party of 3 had to wait 20+ minutes after our reservation time to be seated. We were given a complimentary appetizer for our inconvenience. Two out of three entrees were splendid, but the third arrived at the table cold. It was sent back, and the kitchen sent out a new entree (not the original one rewarmed). Kudos to the... More

We sat at the bar because the place was full and we didn't make a reservation. The hostess was very polite and made sure we were taken care of until some seats opened up. The bartender did an incredible job being attentive, fast, and accurate. The fresh sustainable food was amazing. I had the double cheeseburger. It was possibly the... More

I have been to Surfhouse many times over the years and the turkey rueben will change your life. Weekend brunch is great too…try one of their hashes or the breakfast BLT. Cool setup and quick service, can't complain!

Went on a Thursday, fortunate we made reservations. I had a burger, wife and daughter had the skirt steak, father in law had the fish. The menu is not very extensive, options are only one of each protein, but they were each expertly crafted. It was a small place and the noise with the music is lively, so maybe not... More

Our first trip to the Surf House was probably 10 years ago in search of beach shoes. Casual clothing occupied much of the space -- a disjointed offering at best. We left without making a purchase. Through the years, floor space devoted to clothing waned, and a lunch counter appeared. Fresh, creatively prepared sandwiches, soups and entrees became our go-to... More

We were lucky to snag breakfast here the night after we arrived because they were closed all the other days while we were in town due to it being slow season still. The breakfast we both had were delicious, well-priced and fresh. I had only wished I could have had a dinner at the Surf House because I know the... More

While I am not an oyster eater...everyone else in my party loved them, but they were a bit pricey. The run specials several nights a week and we were there on $7 burger night and that was great. Not a lot of seafood on the menu, but enough. Somehow we missed the dessert menu but that looked good too (we... More

Very creative menu. 6 of us had a variety of lunch items - every one delicious. Mushroom sandwich to die for. Unassuming from the outside, spectacular food. Bread was exceptional as well. One of those "can't go wrong" places!
