Reviews drove us to this restaurant. The excellent ratings are an understatement. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was delightful. The only downside is the dining room. It's a converted gas station(!) and it shows. They should move to an actual restaurant then it'll be perfect.

We've eaten at Thai restaurants all over the country and in Thailand. This was not great tasting Thai food. We might go again but with much lower expectations, avoiding certain dishes. We had the tom Ka Kai (chicken in coconut soup) which had an overpowering sweet lime juice / fish sauce flavor. We also had the papaya salad which also... More

Overjoyed to discover this little hole in the wall on vacation. I honestly would not have to go anywhere else all week, it's that good. The funny part is even that in metro DC it's hard to find Thai this flavorful, fresh, and authentic. The service was friendly and they accommodated our gluten-free request, even checking on some specific ingredients... More

Great service and the food is awesome! The Satay and Beef Pad Thai are a must!! I am sorry I didn't find this place earlier in my stay. Loved the décor and the waitress was willing to answer any questions as needed on the menu.

Tasted good, but... I felt it was a little overpriced. Fresh and good, but lacked on the palette. Nice staff and I have heard lots of rave from friends. Just not the best I have had.

We visited this restaurant during "off-season" and got right in. We were served quickly and there were so many options to choose from that we decided to order and eat family style. With a group of 5 it was perfect. The server was so helpful and friendly. The food was delicious! The Pad Thai was some of the best I... More

My wife and I stopped here for lunch based on the reviews from a competitor's site. We both were disappointed. We ordered one of the daily specials and were quite disappointed to find that the sauce on the meat tasted like Kikkoman Soy Sauce. The portion size was adequate and the cost was very reasonable, but it just did not... More

Wanting a change from seafood I decided to try Ida Thai for dinner one night based on the good reviews. The restaurant was smaller than I expected and could have easily been enlarged with the number of people they serve. I was fortunate to get a table when I arrived as a lady was just leaving. Parking is also hard... More
