Grapevine

Probably the priciest eatery in Calabash but with the food to back it up. Excellent fish and pasta dishes. The owner, Mac is always there giving his personal attention to the food and service. A very active bar locale.

A staple of the Seafood Capital, very good service and hospitality. A nice basil chicken soup and fried flounder. Nicest portion of flounder I've had in Calabash, and I've tried most of them. The staff is friendly and knows the menu. The charm of this location, food and service makes it a great informal stop for a Calabash experience.

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and the great service. The place was packed when we arrived but the service was fast and the waitress was very friendly and attentive. We stopped here because we didn't want a calabash dinner - what did we order - calabash. However, the seafood was very lightly battered and it was... More

Grapevine Restaurant & Lounge is a slightly upscale restaurant and bar. Typical Calabash restaurants focus on FRIED seafood. Grapevine has a good variety of food. Wife had Mediterranean Pasta dish which was very good. I had a Neptune special which was a fillet steak with shrimp and scallops also very good. Small loaf of bread come with a tasty dipping... Celebrated my birthday at Grapevine last night. I grew up in Calabash and I have tried almost every seafood restaurant down on the waterfront, but never went to Grapevine. I always passed it, always saw cars out front and I've always been curious to see the inside and taste the food. First of all our server was very very very... More

Nice casual restaurant - daily lunch specials are delicious and inexpensive - their Caesar Salad with fried oysters is the best anywhere - you will like it here.

Food was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised to find a Greek restaurant in the area. Visited 3 times during past 3 visits to the area. I will definitely go again.

Throwing Feta cheese and kalamata olives into a few things does not make it Mediterranean. This place isn't even truly Italian. We wondered why it wasn't crowded on a busy Friday night, but quickly learned. Very disappointing!!

This restaurant has a slight upscale atmosphere and menu from the town of Calabash known for its deep fried menus. Nice salads. Nice wait staff and bar. Parking can be an issue if busy

Great personalized service. Christine made our meal a special experience . The food was the best Calabash style we experienced on our vacation. Seared tuna was perfect. Southern fried chicken wings tickeled the palate. A must to include when you are here.
