Once again, our family ended up having lunch at Captain Nance's Seafood 4 times during Thanksgiving week. Every meal was just as you expect fresh seafood to taste. The crab balls were good as was the oyster stew. Hushpuppies, shrink, fish, cold slaw and fries or a baked potato for $ 6.50. Where can you beat that? Nothing fancy, just... More

We were looking for a local favorite for lunch and happened on this restaurant. Great view, good fried fish, did not like the coleslaw (tasted like it had relish in it). Hushpuppies were very good - a little sweet, served with honey butter. Service very good. One in our party had a cheeseburger and said it was excellent. Appeared to... More

My husband and I have been eating with the Captain Nance Family (employees) for 35 years. Only two disappointing meals in all that time and we found out the regular cooks were not on those days. Flounder with crab dressing is good, taste of the slaw is great, hushpuppies fine. The lunch specials are a great price and you get... More

The food was not as good as we remembered the last time we ate there two years ago. The portions were small for the prices and the food was quite greasy. Our server was horrible to top it off too. The better choice would have been Dockside Seafood located right beside it. The people we talked to in theparking lot... More

A very popular place. Go early or be prepared for a line to get in. Their portions are generous. Their Crab Cakes are wonderful. I won't hesitate to go back.

went tonight when we discovered that Colemans has been destroyed by fire. The food was good and the staff was friendly. Portion sizes could be a little larger, but overall a good value. Our food was hot & fresh! We will go back!

Great tasting fresh fish and suprising hush puppies served as a appetizer. Husband hates them but loved these. Wonderful help and good food as well.

Brought a cousin here that was vacationing from Ontario. Thought he would enjoy the view of the water. I ordered the lunch special which was extremely small. When I said something about portion size the waitress pointed out that is was the lunch special, that's all you get. She returned to the table with a few more fried shrimp in... More
